This course was in great condition considering the amount of rain we had this week
The hot deal was a great price. Also, the course staff was great. While we were playing the grass was being cut and the maintenance staff stopped before we hit. That was very respectful! Thanks for a great golfing experience.
Always great condition, great staff.
One of my top five courses in Connecticut. Excellent staff, facility and course maintenance.
Very nice time playing there
Course was in good shape and had a good time playing
Will play there often. Friendly staff, wide open and nicely kept greens.
Staff are very friendly and professional. Course is very well kept, and it is a perfect course for walking. Cart was included, but, enjoyed walking. Birdied the par 3 with all the water near it, so that made for an especially good day. It is a wonderful and enjoyable place to play golf. Never had a bad experience there.
great deal for a Saturday
Played on 5/3. 18 holes, cart and a small bucket of range balls for $42.50. Pace of play was average. One 18 hole course was closed due to a scramble so course played in 4:30. Fairways in great shape as well as the greens. Highly reccomend playing
Played the Green course on Monday morning, with a cart, in about 3.5 hours - no waiting. The course was in very good shape, especially for this time of the season. Tee boxes were good, not great; fairways were in good shape; greens were very fast but rolled true. Lots of grass bunkers lining the fairways and several of the greens (especially on the back 9) are surrounded by sand. It looks like they are letting the rough grow, which means that the course will be a bear come summer. This is a very good challenge that rewards smart play; I frequently hit a long iron off the tee to ensure I stayed out of trouble, and was still left with manageable approach shots. Highly recommended.
great shape for late April
for the price with golfnow...couldn't be beat !!! in great shape
An early spring trial
Returning to an old standby was highly anticipated but the early spring weather interceded to make this an uncomforable round. All the holes on the white course are interestingly different in character and difficulty. The greens were in good shape but very slow. The fairways and tees were in need of some care. They were very rough with balls often settling into mini depressions that probably won't be there in a month. The staff is cordial and helpful. I'll definitely return in June. I know the conditions will be better.
good course ingreat condition
course in mid season shape.great greens.great value with hot tee times
Nice course complex.
Very nice course complex-- 45 holes, driving range, shop.
Great shape for so early in the year.
Fairly flat-- good for walking.
Green course was challenging without being overly tough.
Fun course to play
The course was in great shape for December - they were still out mowing! The staff was friendly and helpful making it an enjoyable experience. Definitely would return to play again
This course has it all...great conditions and a friendly staff
The staff was more than accommodating and the conditions were excellent. The greens were in beautiful shape and fairways groomed. it is always difficult to find your ball during the fall due to leaves and sun glare. The staff has done a terrific job keeping the fairways and ruff clear of leaves. I would highly recommend this course for all levels of play.
Avergae course - average results
Booked a time through golfnow. At the course, it was packed with "regulars", whom the starter made special considerations for. Told starter of our time, to find out it was already taken. A "regular" stepped into our spot. Starter did squeeze us in, but not before some resentment from the "regular" golf group we were between. Fact of the matter, my group played better golf then those moaning and groaning, but to hear them complain as well as having a starter bump us for our tee time made our a experience one time deal!
