this is the condition of the 12th green. This is standard condition on all greens Photo submitted by hendu11 on 08/03/2023

while the greens and tee boxes continue to go downhill, the greenskeeper has the time and money to put these pointless bushes and rocks behind the 11th green. No priorities. Photo submitted by hendu11 on 08/03/2023

Not in great shape
This course could be great. The fairways were in need of some care. The tee boxes and the greens needed a lot of work. Beautiful area with nice scenery but the course needs help. Very friendly staff
We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any disappointment caused by the condition of the fairways, tee boxes, and greens. We will take your comments into account and work towards improving these areas. Thank you for highlighting the beautiful scenery and friendly staff - we hope to provide a better experience for you in the future.
Great course! Love the layout
Greens need a little love but for the price was a really fun course. Only had time for 9 but definitely coming back to play the back 9 !
A Disappointment.
Poor conditions. Fairways and greens could be better. My wife and I generally play here a few times a year, but this time it’s one and done. A shame to see upkeep fall off so badly this year.
We apologize for the poor conditions you experienced during your recent visit. We appreciate your feedback and will make sure to address the upkeep issues to provide a better experience in the future. Thank you for taking the time to leave a review.
Worst ever
Played two years ago and now conditions are even worse
Greens are unputtable
An embarrassment to be open

Great for Kids
I golf here regularly with my kids as they learn the game. The club house attendant was very friendly. On course the ranger was super nice giving my kids found balls along the way. Are the greens a little beat up? Yes, but if you are looking for a relaxed atmosphere with a great layout come here. I will continue to golf here in the future.
Great value.
First time playing here - great value, but course conditions were only fair.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us. We appreciate your feedback and apologize for any disappointment you may have had with our course conditions.

Needs work/money spent
Fairways look like fields. Apron looks like an unkept lawn. Greens are so holy (pun) I did not have to go to church.
Some love and fertilizer would go a long way.
I used to go there a lot. Was always a little rough, but something was being done.

Good place to swing for the money
Place is a “go to course”. For the money, you can’t complain. I’ll pay $25 for 18 anytime. Got to swing. Nice layout. Greens, tee boxes and fairways need a lot of work but like I said, I wasn’t there to play on a PGA level course. Just a place to swing and enjoy the day.
Hi John! Thank you so much for leaving us with your feedback. We value our customer experience, so your review is important to us. We will make note and we hope to see you back at Black Birch Golf Club!
Just needs work
Love the layout and the setting but the course is just in bad shape. The greens were impossible and there was no fairway. Just crabgrass and clover everywhere. The greens looked like they had crop circles cut into them and there was not a fixed ball mark ever. I hope they invest in the course because it was once a good course.

Great price - poor course
Greens were all bumpy with indented lines everywhere. 3-4 times ball was rolling into hole and took a direct left or right. Fairways were patchy and rock hard, tee boxes horrible. Just not a well kept course - really too bad cuz layout is interesting and surroundings are very nice. Work on the course!!
Thank you for your review. We apologize for the poor condition of the greens, fairways, and tee boxes. We will work on improving the course maintenance to enhance the golfing experience for our players.
