Stoneridge Golf Course
About
StoneRidge Golf Course in Blanchard is part of the Idaho Golf Trail. Tucked away amongst the northern Idaho hills, the course has a tranquil setting sprawled across rolling hills that are dotted with sparkling lakes and ponds. The course opened in 1968 and has undergone several renovations to its classic design, including the restructuring of the greens and the addition of bunkers. Several holes have also been redesigned. The golf course that exists today is more of a challenge but has retained its original playability. StoneRidge Golf Course's no. 1 handicap hole, the par-3 eighth, is one of Idaho's "Mean 18,"a list of the state's toughest holes. A pond protects the left side of the green and there's a bunker on the right, making accuracy a necessity on this intimidating hole.

Love this course
Amazing Golf course for the money! great mix of challenging holes. the greens are moderately fast. Overall I love this course
Slow play dampened a great course
The course was in great shape except for some bumpy greens and unrepaired divots in the greens. The course plays very open with wide fairways and some holes do border others. Homes come into play on several holes too. The course signage could be improved like a map on the tee box sign would be great. GPS would always be appreciated if added. There were some elevation changes that made the experience fun as well. The water coolers and restrooms were a nice touch too.
Pace of play was an issue for me. I got stuck behind a men's league that apparently allows the players to play as many balls as they wish, hmmmm?!? Favorite holes were 3,5,10,16,& 18.
This is still a nice course and do recommend it to others.
GOLF NOW
I bought my tee time online through GolfNow and called the club house to confirm the tee time for three. The lady at the club house when I called was very friendly and confirmed that she had it on their books for 3 golfers. When we arrived at the club house for our tee time the gentleman at the desk found our reservation but for 1 not 3 once I showed him the confirmation from GolfNow and from the golf courses email address he believed me that I in fact had a tee time for 3. He then tried making me pay for it again. Once again I pulled my paperwork out to show him that it was paid in full online. He was not hesitant to vocalize his thoughts about GolfNow and in polite words he is not pleased with the way GolfNow communicates with the club. Once out on the course the day was great, the greens where not ready for summer play yet but it is still early so we will see what it is like next time.
great shape this early
Golf course was in great shape and not too busy either
Nice coures
very nice northern idaho course. awesome clubhouse and great food!! Course is challenging but pretty wide open. The greens were not perfect yet so I will keep this at a four till next visit. Dont miss out on this one. ps. they have a REAL 19th hole. My playing partner missed a hole in one by one inch!
Course in great condition
Played in foul weather - late in the season, but course was still in great condition. The staff friendly and helpful - had some food in clubhouse after and it was very good.
Great Autumn greens
The greens are in great shape...no plugs pulled this fall. Get out for a nice surprise before the snow flies...
Really Beautiful Course
Fun course to play. Beautiful setting. Huge trout in the pond! Buy a handful of fish food and throw in the pond. Cool to watch them feed. Definitely a course to put on your list of to do's. Give it a try!
great course
Always like playing course. Has challenges, but not real demanding. A course you can have fun on. Perfect time of year to be in area.
This course is a little gem
Course was in very good condition with the greens putting fairly fast. It has a good combination of easier holes and some were very challenging. I played a combination of the blue and white tees and found it about the right degree of difficulty for my game. I played the course one other time and found the Blue tees a bit tougher as some of the par 4's were on the longish side so the combination as suggested on the card with each hole length circled was a good fit. This course is out in the middle of no where and the surrounding grounds is customer friendly with RV sites and rental homes/condos available.
Fun Course
Had a great time this course is well maintained. Highly recommend
nice course mostly through the forest
Course was in great condition despite playing on new greens. Some fast some slow. Nice atmosphere. Not overly challenging but very nice. Can use the big stick often without too much trouble.
Jewel in the mountains
Very nice course. Will play again when in the area. Would recommended to all skill levels.
Stoneridge
I enjoyed this course very much. Fairly narrow fairways but well kept. Greens are nice, but wavy and pin placements were very difficult. I played in the afternoon and course played very fast. Fairly easy course to walk for the most part. Excellent value for the money. Definitely going to play it again when I'm in the area.
Great course for the money
Outstanding course with a beautiful panoramic view....staff was friendly and courteous.....must play!
Stoneridge
A great course and and a green fee of at least 60% off. I'm not telling anyone about the great deal with last minute golf otherwise the tee times would be snatched up in 5 minutes.
Great golf
Thanks to the staff for a great day of golf at a beautiful course.
Stoneridge
a very good course for all handicaps I would recommend it for everyone
Well worth the travel
I played Stoneridge 10 years ago or so and remembered it as an ok course but not very well kept or challenging. Wow what a difference. The course is in beautiful condition and was really fun to play. We weren't pushed nor did we have to wait. There are holes that are rather technical from the tee and then there are some with wide open fairways for the free swinging lo g ball golfers. Greens were in great shape with some challenging pin positions. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We took our time at the turn and still finished in 4 hours. Looking forward to playing the course again!
Worth the drive
First hole starts out bordered by homes both sides, after the first hole nice fairways and generous roughshod. Greens were true and somewhat fast.
Landscape and the mountains in the backdrop is beautiful. I could retir here at this location!
