StoneRidge Golf Course in Blanchard is part of the Idaho Golf Trail. Tucked away amongst the northern Idaho hills, the course has a tranquil setting sprawled across rolling hills that are dotted with sparkling lakes and ponds. The course opened in 1968 and has undergone several renovations to its classic design, including the restructuring of the greens and the addition of bunkers. Several holes have also been redesigned. The golf course that exists today is more of a challenge but has retained its original playability. StoneRidge Golf Course's no. 1 handicap hole, the par-3 eighth, is one of Idaho's "Mean 18,"a list of the state's toughest holes. A pond protects the left side of the green and there's a bunker on the right, making accuracy a necessity on this intimidating hole.

Good course. Pretty good experience.

Good course. Play was slow, but probably due to a tournament played earlier in the day. Greens were fast, and the rough played tough.

Great course, very scenic. Staff a little less then desired.

We had an early tee time and showed up early to hit some range balls. The individual behind the counter showed up 5 minutes before our tee time and then informed us that he was pretty sure that the driving range was closed. So we started our round and when we were on hole 3 we could see other golfers on the driving range. It seemed like the individual that checked us in didn't even want to be there. We did really enjoy the course and it was in really good condition. When we made the turn we stopped in the clubhouse for some snacks and the waitstaff again seemed like they didn't even want to help us. Overall great golf, staff needs to change their attitudes!!!

Disorganized

I booked a 7:30am tee time, and the shop didn't even open until 8:00am. There were three other groups that were ready to tee off as well, so we were stacked up. After being delayed by them not being open, we were delayed further. We didn't tee of until 8:45. During the delay, they didn't even offer to comp us a bucket of balls for the range, so we had to pay full price for that.

The course was in pretty good shape, and we enjoyed the round. Good thing none of us had to be somewhere at a specific time.

Not easy but doesn't beat you up either

We have played this course many years ago, but don't remember it being such a great course. Enough challenge to keep it interesting, but doesn't beat you up either. Made for two very enjoyable rounds, except for weather, but no control over that. Even has a 19th hole, which was fun. Staff in pro shop and restaurent great also.
