Nice town Course
Played late in season on a decently maintained local public. Course in great shape from rain and warm temps, so played well. Rough was high due to rain so locating balls was n ot always a piece of cake, but not too many leaves. Plays true to rating and fun course. Always end up here playing right up to closing, but that is really schedule not course speed.
Nioce place to play
Early but good
The course was wet but in good condition for early season
Great course but wait a month or two
Still temp greens and no tee boxes. Wait a month or two when fully open unless you just want to get out there
Perfection
For a mid-November round I couldn't have asked for a better golf day. The course was in great shape and the greens were 10 out of 10!
November
The staff help me to get out on to the course. Nice wonderful people
Good course - needing some maintenance
Overall this is a good course with a challenging layout. I have here played many times as I live close by but there are 4 areas where this course needs some serious maintenance.
1. Bunkers - All bunkers need to be rebuilt with proper irrigation. They need actual sand in the bunkers and they need to be raked/maintained by grounds staff.
2. Tee boxes - Not all but most tee boxes are atrocious. Most are not level and are often muddy with a complete lack of grass!!!
3. Cart Paths - Some cart paths have been replaced thankfully but approximately 50% are in complete disrepair.
4. Golf Cart GPS - The GPS system is very useful and appreciated BUT too many times the cart shuts down telling me to return to the cart path when I haven't even left the cart path!!! This really needs to be addressed as it affects pace of play on a consistent basis.
aeration
The greens are still not back from the aeration but playable. Had cart path only on some holes. When the greens return this is a good public course to play
COUSRE UPDATES
I HAVE PLAYED THIS COURSE MULTIPLE TIMES OVER THE LAST 15 YEARS AND HAVE SEEN MANY UPDATES...... BUT THERE ARE SEVERAL ASPECTS THAT REALLY NEED SOME ATTENTION.
BUNKERS - NEED TO BE REBUILT WITH PROPER IRRIGATION AND SOME ACTUAL SAND ADDED!
TEE BOXES - MOST TEE BOXES ARE NOT LEVEL AND HARDLY HAVE ANY GRASS.
CART PATHS - SOME HAVE BEEN IMPROVED BUT MOST ARE IN PRETTY BAD SHAPE.
THE GREENS ARE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AND RIVAL SOME ELITE COUNTY CLUBS.
I'M SUBMITTING THIS REVIEW NOT AS A COMPLAINT BUT IN HOPING THESE ISSUES ARE ADDRESSED IN THE NEAR FUTURE
