3rd: par-4, 430. This Cape design tempts you to take the shortest route down the fairway toward the green (on left). Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

7th, par-3, 220. A well-guarded and contoured green; a pleasant backdrop. Seen here from its left flank. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

8th: par-4, 352. Green complex at this short and steeply downhill hole--made perilous by a pond. Eagle potential, however. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

The par-4 14th, 447. Long, beautiful, and possibly deadly. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Sixteen is another excellent, long par-4 concluding on this green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

18th, par-5 of 588. The signature hole? I’ll go for that. Great bunkering from Mungeam. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 08/07/2021

Great value-need a ranger.
Course was in top shape. Fairways were true and greens were quick but consistent. 5 hour round could have shorter if a ranger would have coached a few ‘wise guys’.

Course is in great shape even though it’s early in the season.
Greens are somewhat fast but expecting them to be faster soon.
Excellent Course for Money
As usual, nice round at Conn National. Course is fine condition for mid April especially. Great pace of play as my threesome played in 3 hrs 45 minutes. Just play the course and enjoy!
Great shape for Early season play!!
The grounds are in FANTASTIC shape for April! As many rounds as I have played, never had a bad experience at CT National. Greens were a little shaggy BUT made for yet another different experience and shot my best round there yet..77!
ARERATION ALERT!!!
Was not aware that they plugged and sanded the greens before our round. I was paired up with 3 nice guys who were practicing for a golf getaway. Really enjoyed their company.
The course was in good condition considering it just started getting nice out. Winter is over !!! Bring on the deals.
I always have a great time at CT. National GC !!
Tried for redemption
I'd only played the course twice before, and the last time was back in 2020 when all the courses in MA were closed. I usually ride a cart, but they weren't available at the time. I forgot how hilly the golf course is and I really struggled. I wanted to come back and ride a cart to give myself a better chance at a decent score.
It was a cool (46F) day with blustery conditions. At the higher points of the course, it was a bit cold. I started off well in terms of ball striking, but I couldn't figure out the greens. I'm not going to complain much about the greens since it's so early in the season, but I struggled to get the ball to the hole.
As I said before, the course is pretty hilly so figuring out the correct yardages with the cold and windy conditions wasn't easy either. I can only imagine how fast the greens will be this summer when the weather gets better. Overall, a good course with challenging greens, and considering the time of year, the course was in good shape.
Reliable course and value
CT National remains one of my favorite courses to play. It was cold and windy but still quite enjoyable. Greens had recently been punched, but still rolled acceptably.
Great course
Despite the 30 degree weather and it being March, course was in great shape and had a great round. Will play again in nicer weather!
Nice layout
CT National is a very decent track in an out of the way area. Some very fun holes. For a March round, the course was in very decent shape. And playing it for $45 with cart was a bargain!
CT National Golf Course was a pleasure to play. An awesome course especially for the price. Very visually challenging and has an excellent layout. Tough par 71 course in New England with many challenges as you play your way around the course. Would absolutely recommend the course to a friend and recommend playing here at least once. Great experience.
