Great course to play challenging but friendly to all golfers

Very challenging layout. Unfair pin placements at times since some greens are ridiculously sloped

Pace of play WAY too slow--2 forsomes up ahead took forever & were allowed to---If we hadn't walked off after 9 (had paid to play 18) it took a full 25 minutes for the threesome in front of me to tee off at the 10th---I get it was sunday afternoon but all the same you can't let each hole take 20-30 minutes--2 hrs and 40 minutes for 9---Not good

I love this course friendly staff and a great chipping area and putting green ! I will be spending many of my afternoons out there on this course!!!

It's early so the back 9 was not available but overall good day. Friendly staff and the want your business. Looking forward to a return visit.

The course was in very good shape the fairways were in very good condition and the greens were in very good condition. It was great to get out this late in the season.

We played North Ridge on a 50 degree day. The tee boxes, fairways, and greens were in great shape. There were some leaves but not too bad. The traps were in need of some help. We had a rain storm earlier in week so it was understandable.

A great time was had by all in our foresome. A good deal for this time of year.

Been a long time since I have played here when it used to be called Pine Valley and where I scored my only hole in one on the par 3 8th hole. In fairness, it is mid-November and we caught a decent weather day. The course was in generally good shape although by this time, the leaves might have been better cleaned out of areas of play but not really a problem. The bunkers were pretty packed down making putting out a viable option. Tees were good although hard to get a tee in the ground. The fairways were excellent and greens were in good condition although played somewhat slower than expected. One noticeable difference is the fairly recent building of what appear to be nice homes along some of the holes. Quite sure this will become a problem in the future with neighbors complaining about stray shots because some of the yards are definitely in play with a not so errant shot. Overall a fairly short but reasonable tight course with holes demanding a draw or fade off the tee and a few where laying up is the smart choice. The back has a couple really nice holes although the grounds get very wet leading to use of plywood laid down on the cart path.

Course was in great shape for end of the year. Easily best course in area.

challenging greens but running true. course really improving since new owner took over. a course you will play more then once.

We booked our tee time on Golf Now and was supposed to include carts...but they said it was pull-carts that was included. We ended up having to pay $16 more for each golfer.
The starter was a bit gruff...the typical unfriendly type that if he doesn't know you...he doesn't want to know you.

Greens and fairways are well kept, greens are fast and require good putt control. The cart paths need major improvement, the addition of gravel would be appreciated. The carts are too slow, and definitely slow down the rate of play. The snack bar needs to post a menu with the existing sign on the 9th tee, and would be better, to eliminate any wait, if it was moved to the 8th tee. Otherwise I would rate everything above average.

Shot a great round while playing the course when it was just me there. Arrived at tee'd off the front @ 4 and was done with the front by 5:15. I then played the back and was off the course at 6:15. The fast 18 - aided by good play - but the layout allows for it!

The staff was great, the conditions were better than expected post aeration greens and overall, it was a good experience!

I have played here many of times. I cut my teeth on this course. Always in great shape and an interesting place to learn and relearn your game. Club pro is approachable and willing to give input. The greens role true and this week are pga fast. Sad to see the course morph but look forward to its reincarnation.. play before its gone

North Ridge [the old Pine Valley] was in nice shape, the Fairways and Greens were fantastic, a little rough around the edges with confusing dirt cart paths and access areas but overall a great experience. Had not played there in a few year's, it was always a fun, interesting course and our round was no exception.
We will try to get back again this season.

Great fun and challenging course. Great 19th to grab food after a round. Course as a whole is in great shape but lately i have noticed the greens to be very slow. Wish the greens were more consistent.

I usually play this course at least two or three times a year, but haven't played it until today and what a SURPRISE I got!!! The golf course was BETTER than most private courses I have ever played on!!!

The fairways were lush with no bad lies at all. The greens were PERFECT; fast and true with no pitch marks like a lot of public courses I've played.

I will be back as many times as I can before the season ends.

THIS COURSE IS A "MUST" PLAY!!!

Pine Valley, now North Ridge has improved since new ownership and new greens superintendent. They continue to make improvements which to the average golfer may be incidental. The effect is a overall great golf experience.
Some of the best greens (private or public) and decent fairways make it feel like a country club.
The staff is the best and the restaurant is worth staying for a dinner inside or out on the patio.

Great course, great condition, they key families with small children out. Groups of five. Gave up after 11 holes. Waiting too long. There were three twosomes on one tee at a time. Management needs not to be so greedy taking every person as fast as they can Too mamy people on the couse at one time Children under the age of four should not be allowed. Golf educate needs to be taught. And a ranger if a beer cart every ten minutes would be a good idea.
