The tenth. From the tee, the view is beautiful. Serious concerns arise, though, when you veer left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Two. Uphill four-par of 329. Birdie opportunity after two good shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Four; par-4. Short but lethal, with the mid-fairway tree putting a wrench into the works. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Seven: Today, in late spring, the hole’s beauty compensated a bit for its difficulties. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Twelve. Short par-3. I’m tempted to call this my favorite hole, along with my five other favorites. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Green eighteen. The end of an uphill 565-yard par-five. It’s easy to miss, even with wedge in hand. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

3rd: Enjoyable, longer, open par-4 that still has OB-right and concludes on this green, backed by thick woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Seven: Short-but-tough 5-par that runs uphill (dogleg-left) and ends on this green amidst the woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Eight: From behind green at great tee-to green classic. A tiny green for a 150-170 yard blind, downhill approach; it also big bunker right and substantial fall-offs on its perimeter. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Fine Golden Age design: This green's frontal shelf rejects less-than-pure or off-line approaches, which travel uphill from nearly 200 yards. Pars are hard-won at nine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Ten (behind green) The drive, a forced carry over a sizeable pond, precedes a less rigorous wedge into this rolling green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

12: No picture can capture the elegance of the par-3 12th, but I tried. It looks a bit Augusta-like, save for the flattish terrain. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

Nice layout
Was a nice course. Green and tee boxes were excellent!
Had enougthcold water on the course.. Pace of play was fine for a holiday.
An excellent value for a reasonable course
This public course is in good condition with decent fairways and greens. The carts are old and the cart paths need gravel, but the course itself is well maintained. There is a small driving range. The pub/grille is small and out of date, but certainly adequate for the 19th hole. The facilities could use some investment to get to the next level, I enjoyed my round and will return.
Nice mix of open, tight, easy, tough holes.
Overall, a fun and fair course with a good variety of holes.
Mystic
Love playing here. Seldom have I had a slow round and always paired with good folks. Good food afterwards. Keep it up Pequot
Fun course
I enjoyed my round today at this course , would go again.
Not worth it
Course is in rough shape. Greens were shaggy and inconsistent. Customers were rude and unruly. I will not go back for a long time. Many other nearby courses that are better for the same price. Staff doesn’t care about your golf experience, they just make excuses.
Nice people Bad course.
I know it rained a lot in April but the conditions were so bad that in my opinion they shouldn’t have opened the course. It was soaking wet, really unplayable. A shame since I looked forward to playing it based in the 4 stars it had on GolfNow. Not sure how it got that rating. I tried to imagine perfect weather conditions and still I could only come up with a maximum 2.5 stars. Many bare spots. Terrible cart paths etc..... great clubhouse and on course personnel.
Place is great
If you’re smart you can catch a deal here and not bother with the other overpriced course in Stonington. This place is more fun, better pace of play, and staff is MUCH friendlier than anywhere even close
Another Great Experience at Pequot
I’ve only been golfing for a few months and really enjoy this course. It’s challenging yet achievable for new golfers like myself. The course is in good condition and easy to navigate. The only real complaint I would have is that some of the cart paths are in some serious repair and maintenance. Other than that I really enjoyed it. This was my second time playing this course. The staff is friendly and take care of you. There was a senior league ahead of me when I came to the front 9, I played the back 9 first, so I just played the back again. Which was fine by me. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone.
Hole placement doesn’t change very often but it’s a nice course sometimes a little to wet. Nice place to play
Nice course.
Nice layout but the course was very wet even for this time of year.
Love Pequot!
Did this course today in 3 hours. Nobody out there. A little cold and windy but the sun was shining. Only complaint was lots of leaves in the fairways and on the greens...but what can you do? Mother Nature was having it her way. Greens were in great shape for this time of year!!
leaves
I love this course, but as with any course in this area this time of year presents a challenge due to falling leaves. The grass is long and lush and with lots of leaves littering the course I could not find 2 perfectly hit shots yesterday, its very frustrating when you know they should be in plain sight.
