The tenth. From the tee, the view is beautiful. Serious concerns arise, though, when you veer left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Two. Uphill four-par of 329. Birdie opportunity after two good shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Four; par-4. Short but lethal, with the mid-fairway tree putting a wrench into the works. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Seven: Today, in late spring, the hole’s beauty compensated a bit for its difficulties. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Twelve. Short par-3. I’m tempted to call this my favorite hole, along with my five other favorites. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Green eighteen. The end of an uphill 565-yard par-five. It’s easy to miss, even with wedge in hand. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

3rd: Enjoyable, longer, open par-4 that still has OB-right and concludes on this green, backed by thick woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Seven: Short-but-tough 5-par that runs uphill (dogleg-left) and ends on this green amidst the woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Eight: From behind green at great tee-to green classic. A tiny green for a 150-170 yard blind, downhill approach; it also big bunker right and substantial fall-offs on its perimeter. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Fine Golden Age design: This green's frontal shelf rejects less-than-pure or off-line approaches, which travel uphill from nearly 200 yards. Pars are hard-won at nine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Ten (behind green) The drive, a forced carry over a sizeable pond, precedes a less rigorous wedge into this rolling green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

12: No picture can capture the elegance of the par-3 12th, but I tried. It looks a bit Augusta-like, save for the flattish terrain. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

Enjoyable Day
2nd time my wife and I have played here with friends and really enjoyed the course. Looking forward to playing here in the future.
Nice layout
Greens and tee were in great shape, fairways were well maintained
beautiful tree lined course
I have played this course about 4 times, and I really enjoy the rural woodsy atmosphere . Our starter was a bit lack luster but efficient .Aside from being pushed the last four holes, I and the rest of my foursome had a very enjoyable round , and I might add , I'm anxious to play there again for that price .
Nice Round
Played with Wife and friends, and had a very enjoyable round. Course conditions and pace of play were good. All agree to play here again.
Pleasant Round
My wife and I enjoyed the round. Tee boxes and greens were good. Good deal on Golfnow. Will play here again.
Great short course
Great course and outstanding service in the pro shop.
Great Course
Great experience! Course was in great condition and staff was super friendly!
Pequot
Good price for a round. Not a tough course. We went out at 5pm and it was very busy with leagues and other guests. Had to play the back 9 twice to get our round in.
Nice Course
Nice course in good conditions. Some interesting holes but a couple of too long par 3's, close to 200 yards. I'm a firm believer that par 3 holes should be FUN and between 150-175 yards. Greens are on the slow side but are smooth. Cart paths are tough on the kidneys.
Good value and friendly staff and players.
Needs some work.
I have played this course several times and this was the best condition I have seen it in. That's probably because we've had sufficient rain. I would not recommend this course in August or September if there hasn't been rain. Perhaps the prior years were impacted by the drought? Relative to my most recent experience the sand traps need some work.
The course is wet on some of the holes , but will get better in time
Love this course
I've been playing this course for a couple decades, it's a good mix of challenging and easy holes. Though soggy ground is almost guaranteed, especially at the 12th hole, it's still an overall fun course. The staff is always friendly, curtious and genuinely nice.
Good course for the money
I've played here probably ~5 times over the past year. Course conditions ranged from below average to quite good. It's a good course with some fun holes, not particularly challenging but still entertaining.
I would recommend this course to someone not looking to drop $50 on a round of golf (usually able to get good tee times through GolfNow for $20-$30 with a cart). There are better golf courses out there but for the price, Pequot is good.
Bad condition.
I've played a lot of courses in the RI,CT area and this one takes the prize of worst course I have ever had played. There was no distinction between rough and fairways. The greens were all torn up and haven't been cut in months it looked like. The sands traps was mud and rocks couldn't even hit out of them. And the tee boxes were not cut. Do not recommend.
