The tenth. From the tee, the view is beautiful. Serious concerns arise, though, when you veer left. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Two. Uphill four-par of 329. Birdie opportunity after two good shots. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Four; par-4. Short but lethal, with the mid-fairway tree putting a wrench into the works. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Seven: Today, in late spring, the hole’s beauty compensated a bit for its difficulties. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Twelve. Short par-3. I’m tempted to call this my favorite hole, along with my five other favorites. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

Green eighteen. The end of an uphill 565-yard par-five. It’s easy to miss, even with wedge in hand. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 06/03/2021

3rd: Enjoyable, longer, open par-4 that still has OB-right and concludes on this green, backed by thick woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Seven: Short-but-tough 5-par that runs uphill (dogleg-left) and ends on this green amidst the woods. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Eight: From behind green at great tee-to green classic. A tiny green for a 150-170 yard blind, downhill approach; it also big bunker right and substantial fall-offs on its perimeter. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020
-
Fine Golden Age design: This green's frontal shelf rejects less-than-pure or off-line approaches, which travel uphill from nearly 200 yards. Pars are hard-won at nine. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

Ten (behind green) The drive, a forced carry over a sizeable pond, precedes a less rigorous wedge into this rolling green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

12: No picture can capture the elegance of the par-3 12th, but I tried. It looks a bit Augusta-like, save for the flattish terrain. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/29/2020

Long hitter short course
I have been playing here for years. The course is not in great shape. Fairways are bad, greens are GREAT! This course will challenge your club selection off the tee. Greens are on the smaller side. Lots of dog legs which can really show down play. I have played alot of golf at a lot of places and hands down Pequot has the friendliest staff. They make you feel welcome every time. That really helps.
Not worth the money
Well the first 9 were closed and we weren't told until we were about to pay. The staff member told us we could play the back 9 twice if we wanted. It would've saved us $5 to only play 9. So we of course did their version of 18. The course was ok except for them patches of dirt and rocks where sometimes the ball would land. If it wasn't a rocky dirt patch there was goose droppings. The grill they serve food at reminded me of the one on the block island ferry. Overpriced hot dogs. I think I would pay $20 to play here but not much more.
Very enjoyable round
The course has some tight fairways and doglegs making it challenging for those who have a little trouble staying in the fairway. Greens were fast and in good condition. Some of the fairways were a little dry and barren due to the lack of rain. With a little more watering, I'd say this would be a hidden gem. I would definitely play there again. I did find it unusual and disappointing that the restaurant was not open on Sat. afternoon of Labor Day weekend though.
Quick round
Fast round, greens and tee boxes in good shape, some fairways and roughs are hard and dry.
nice coarse
very nice friendly staff grounds keep nice great greens
The Course
Fairways were well kept and a little dry due to the weather. Greens were relatively fast and in good condition.
Interesting and fair course
I'm a 26 handicapper, so I really appreciated the wide fairways. The large tree guarding the 3rd hole and 3 or 4 very sharp doglegs as well as impending disasters if you overshoot the greens makes it an interesting, fair course.
Short and underrated
Played pequot Tuesday afternoon while course was a little wet. Had the course to ourselves, greens were in good shape and I enjoyed the short layout which made it fun and easy. Enjoyed a delicious burger in the club house after my round and staff were all very friendly. I'll be back to pequot soon
Short but not easy - with a great staff.
After years of playing elsewhere, I made the switch to Pequot last year. While there are a few areas on the course that need some improvement, they did make a lot of improvements already. One tip: Don't go over any green. There's nothing but trouble back there. The staff there is the key. From the pro shop to the restaurant and everyone else inclusive; they all make you feel welcome and are eager to assist you in any way possible. I'm glad I made the switch.
Needs improvement
Tee boxes need grass, and also need to be leveled. Cart paths can also use some maintenance or carts with some off road tires would work.
Great little course
Tees and greens were good, fairways a little shaggy.
Not a long layout, but it is tight in places and some tricky doglegs. A fun place to play.
Pequot Golf Course
Slow play. Sand in bunkers was hard. OK to play at but not a place I would rush back to.
Rocky
Not sure if they were trying to redo the fairways or they didn't own a lawn mower. At one point the fairway grass was so deep I could lose my driver head. Short range 150 max. Needs improvement.
Course puts a premium on accuracy and putting
The course is relatively short put a
has a lot of variety in hole layouts. There are renovations in process which should improve playability
Well kept and maintained for November play.
Course was in great shape for this time of year (Nov.6) and was happy for the weather and price for our four some.
Good old New England course
The greens were excellent, and most of the tee boxes and fairways were very good. A couple of tees and fairways were not good but only because of the lack of rain.
A good fun course with some nice holes
Nice course, some great holes, pleasant staff.
We were pleasantly surprised by Pequot Golf Course - it is a short course, but there are a number of very interesting and different holes, some open, others tight. We happened to golf behind the men's club championship on a Sunday, so had a five and a half hour round - it was agonizingly slow play, but that won't stop us from visiting Pequot again, and it shouldn't stop you. I especially liked the fact that most of the holes were very different than the one in front of it - plenty of dogleg lefts and rights, long par 3's, short par 4's, etc. I can't wait to play it again when I won't have to wait on every shot....
Good Deal for CT
This is a nice course with some good challenge and a variety of fairways. Enjoy the pace and the staff does their best to get the groups out and moving around the course. No issues and a great place to Golf.
course is very narrow, more difficult than it looks
course is difficult, but the fairways need irrigation to make it a really good course
