Love this course great track better bring your best.

I booked a hot deal and was to tee off around 12:50. arrived at he course early to practice and warm up. Range was very nice and well stocked. It appears that everyone was playing early morning rounds. I teed off 10 minutes early...and played an enjoyable round in 2 hours flat. The course was in great shape and each of the 4 groups i ran into let me play through promptly. Will play there again and bring some friends.

Drove over two hours to play this course. The course was in great shape, the staff was very friendly and helpful (even gave us yardage books). The holes were challenging and allowed for different strategies (driver versus hybrid/irons off tees). The greens were very fast. My only complaint is that we could not figure out chipping onto the greens. No matter what we hit, the ball rolled out. Still had an excellent time. They allowed us a replay for just cart fee which was nice.

Course was a lot of fun. Great layout, tee boxes need some work and the greens had been top dressed with sand, which did not affect the roll of the greens, but sure reduced any spin on approach shots, pitches and chips. Loved the course and will be back.

Showed up at 8:45 for 9:20 round and did not see employee until went to pro shop no one at bag drop or starter.

This is a Radio course, very enjoyable round of golf.

Great course with awesome views. Got a really good deal on Golfnow otherwise might have not payed $75 to play here.

this course is beautiful. Very tough from the tips. Definitely the better challenge in N. Georgia and you can't blame it on the greens, they're in perfect shape and FAST!

Enjoyed the round even in the winter time conditions

First time playing the course. It was in very good condition for winter golf. Greens are rolling perfect.

The greens are as fine as any you will ever play. Overall condition of the course was very good to excellent even considering the dormancy of the turf. Do yourself a favor and play there if you have the chance.

Normally I could not afford to play here but I had a day off and wanted to splurge a little and found a Hot Deal on Golf Now. It was well worth it. This was the first time I played here so I was not real sure on some of the carries off the tee. I hit some drives that I thought would be great only to find that they ran through the dog leg, etc. This is a great course. Great condition even in November. Some of the best greens I have putted on all year. The staff was very friendly and weren't rude about me using golf now. They tried to pair me up with another group, but that group was not ready to tee off yet so I went off as a single with no problem. Smooth sailing all the way around. This really is a great course. I will plan to go back again if I can get another hot deal.

Beautiful place to play beautiful colors of the mall right now

First, the resort is first class all the way with friendly staff and excellent facilities. The only unfavorable part of the experience is the parking lot is a good bit from the club house, which is now located across the street from the course. But after we checked in, everything went smoothly. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were the fastest I've putted on - maybe in my life. They were in great condition and rolled true, just fast and broke more than I'm used to. If you play this course, I would plan on spending extra time on the practice putting green getting used to them. Also, we found chipping on these greens (yes, I missed some), was difficult due to the speed and the breaks. Really make you appreciate the short game of the professionals. We played from the Blue tees and a lot of holes seemed to play long (average length hitter) with the par 3 ranging from 180 - 220 yards. Overall, we great time and came away with what areas of our games that needed work. I would recommend this course and even better if you can play it with a discount.

The General is a challenging yet fun course. Plan on losing a few balls...but you may not care. The character and charm of this course make it worthwhile. It can be a little pricey but the staff and overall amenities of Barnsley Gardens makes one feel like one of the elite. I give this course and the resort my most enthusiastic recommendation. Save some money, buy extra balls, and give yourself enough time to get up to the solitude of NW GA and you won't be sorry.

Great course, layout was excellent, nice facility, very friendly staff. Easy drive up from Atlanta, but would make an even better play/stay trip. Also took advantage of the sporting clays course, can't beat shooting Caesar guerrini over unders and a round of golf in the same day!!!

The fastest greens you will putt on period. I love fast greens. The course was in emaculate condition. Played as a foursome and everything moved along in a nice pace. No back ups or no one hitting down our throats. I will be back soon

My expectations were high based on reviews I had read prior to playing. My expectations were easily surpassed and that is not an easy task! First class in every aspect from the time the clubs are dropped off, loaded on the cart and you go to the practice facility. The staff is Awesome! The course - perfect tees, perfect fairways, perfect greens, what else can be said? An absolute must play and we are already planning a trip back.

I live inside the perimeter so it is a haul for me but well worth the trip. The course is in excellent shape the Bermuda greens are fast and true. bring your game to the General. shots slightly off line are punished. great track

Course was in great shape. Played in 4 hours. Staff is excellent.
