Yates is Great!
The course is in the best shape ever! Greens are rolling well! Challenging Par 3s are awesome to fine tune your short game!
Can be a little pricey but catch the Hot Deal and it's well worth the price!

Criminally overpriced
The course is in good (not great) condition, but way overpriced for what's effectively a glorified par-3 course with only 9 holes. There's other courses ITP where you can play 18, on a nicer course, for less $$$. Also has consistent pace of play issues. Clubhouse and driving range are nice tho

Miss the back 9, but glad we still have the front 9
Enjoyed Charlie Yates with my son Saturday. Enjoyed it very much, a real variety of holes and a beautiful setting. The range wasn’t great, better to be off the mats full-time….but the range was nothing like the course. The course is well maintained and a real fun test.

All par 3’s and par 4’s, good course conditions, slow pace of play, people cutting and going backward to play more holes

Such a fun course!
I love Yates and play it 20 or so times a year. It's a great Rees Jones layout--tees for every skill level, short enough to not be super stressful, perfect for a quick round. They've put a lot of work into the course of late to improve drainage and work on specific tee boxes and greens and it shows. It's in great condition right now. A few more tee boxes remain to be improved (will #4 ever get its back tees back?... doesn't the back tee on #8 deserve a little love?), but take this lovely little muni for a weekday spin. You won't regret it.
