Course is in great shape. You can tell they really do an excellent job and care about the course. Greens and hole placements were challenging. Great place!!!

The place is in great shape. The greens were so fast it was so much fun.

Excellent layout and conditions. The course is fun and is maintained like a Country Club. I have told ALL my friends about Lane Creek. I can't wait to play it again on my next trip to Georgia.

Playing from the tips made this short course a little tougher to play. Course in good condition, greens could have been a little faster, but had a fun day practicing.

Played for $32 at Lane Creek on Thursday 8/14 at 7:30am. Finished with a 3-some in less than 3.5 hours but we were one of the first ones out. I loved the course layout. It had several short par 4s with great risk reward scenarios be it water or dog-legs or trees and bunkers blocking the green. The par 5s and 3s were standard. I thought the fairways were generously wide except when a short 4 merited narrowness. Fairways are in good shape right now. The greens were still growing back in from being punched a few weeks ago but actually rolled pretty fast and true. I'd expect them to be really fast when they're fully recovered. Most of the greens were large and undulating. No cart girl seen but we finished before 11. There was free coffee in the morning, a nice touch. Overall, I'd play again. I'm an hour away but would play there regularly if I was a local.

The course was kind of wet so it play a little longer, we be back the layout is great.

The tee boxes, fairways and the layout of the course were phenomenal. The greens you can tell they take care of their greens and respect the game.

Lane Creek is a very nice golf course. It has always been in good shape when I have played it. It doesn't play really long so you don't need driver on every hole, but if you choose the driver on every hole you had better be accurate with it.

This is a golf facility. The whole purpose is the golf course and is maintained for our enjoyment. The tee boxes were in excellent shape fro the blue markers.The fairways are well prepared for play. The greens were in the spiked and top dressed stage and I look forward to a return visit in a couple of weeks as the greens will be in fine shape. I think this is the "champions green" grass.

Al in all I know that the maintenance crew has provided a well groomed course to play.

If the greens had been in regular shape I would have rated the experience "most excellent".

I recently played Lane Creek Golf Course and have the found the course to be fair, but testing and the greens are some of the best in the Atlanta and Athens Area. Definitely worth the time to play this course.

The course is looking excellent right now. Fairways and tee boxes are nice and green. The greens look great and are fast. Watch out for the rough, it's not very tall but man is it thick. I did see a sign on the door that they are going to aerate on July 15. So the greens will be down for at least 2 weeks.

We had no idea this course was here-had a lot of fun. Greens were fast and challenging.

This course is excellent for the Golf Now prices. We love it. There is a great mix of challenging and average holes. We never regret a round here.

Last played the course back in March and the dormant/hardpan like conditions around the greens made it tough to get a wedge under the ball on the tight lies. The lies made me feel as if I needed to bump-n-run every shot.

Not so today...with a few exceptions, the grass has grown in and you could play a variety of shots with confidence around the greens.

I drive out there for reasons.

1. The greens...they're relatively small, but smooth surfaces and the speed is faster than average...especially downhill, down grain. The course is not long, so if you can figure out the greens, you can score here.

2. Value...don't expect the Taj Mahal, but it's hard to beat to this course for the money.

If you have not played it...relatively short (less than 6200 from blue, <6700 from the tips. For the bogey golfer...the wht tees will provide a solid challenge.

The course staff that was working, was very friendly. But, the course was SEVERELY UNDERSTAFFED. My foursome couldn't even get clean carts before going out. We had to remove the previous users' trash, and head out in muddy/grassy carts hoping that they wouldn't run out of gas.

The food and beverage offerings are VERY MEAGER, so either eat ahead of time or bring your own.

I've been back to play course since my membership expired.

A must play!

We played Lane Creek on a Saturday and play was really slow beginning at the 2nd hole. Not sure if it was a group of slow players or not managing the tee sheet in the club house.

Other than that, this course was in good condition with smooth greens that were fairly fast.

The layout has some short par 4's with a couple of long ones mixed in to make it interesting. It is more of a shot-makers course instead of a power-hitters layout but fun to play.

We paired up with a two-some in front of us and had an enjoyable afternoon on a fun golf course.

I saw multiple groups of 5 and 6 players, causing a 5 hour round!

Fun course. Small fast greens make it a challenge. Along with some water hazards and bunker placements. Some of the greens were diseased and need work. These few greens made putting difficult with the bumpy roll. I enjoy playing this course and play it several times a year. Lane Creek has a good driving range with a good chipping area. The putting green is in horrible shape & needs a makeover.
