Best green conditions I’ve played on in many years. It was a great course
Beauty Golf Day
Heritage has been a go to course for me because of previous rack rates were affordable compared to St. Simons Island courses where I live
But with course improvements and the post covid world, both of the owners courses took a leap forward. Heritage has got their greens at a 9.5, and with the cart path improvements. Tee box maintenence levels, the super has done a great job in bringing the course to another level. Golf Now makes it affordable. My Thanks to both entities.
Swamp golf
Looked great until you get out on the course. Super wet
.standing water and mud every shot...not worth 55 dollars...maybe 35 tops..pretty much unplayable. I won't be returning.
Excellent Value
We loved playing this course before of the carts with GPS, greens were in very good condition.
Would definitely recommend this course 👍
Nice course
Greens are perfect. Roll true with good speed. Unusual for this time of year. Rest of course is winter conditions but very playable. Good layout. Would play again.
Course is in great shape
The greens were pretty fast and in great shape for this time of year. The whole course looks amazing to be winter golf! Highly recommended
Looking better!
The greens on this course have been very good over several years. The fairways are good. The layout is fine. The issue in the past has been the cart paths. But right after the first of January 2023, they went to work redoing all the paths. They are much improved!!! So happy to see the work that they are doing. And the price is right too! We played Jekyll recently and the greens needed much work. King & Prince and Sea Palms are nice but pricey. Heritage Oaks is a great alternative.
RI FOURSOME
Well received. Cart paths. Left hearing aid pack in golf cart. Still hoping management finds it. Nice day. Electronic cart management a pain in the butt.
Repair Going On
Not a fair time to review as cart paths and inside dining all under repair. Should be a very nice track once finished.

Wet
In the area for a few days a played here during midday. There had been considerable rain recently and play was 90 degrees from the cart path. With the rain some watering heads were still leaking at the tee boxes making conditions worse.
If the wet conditions had been better all would have been great!
Fairways and greens looked good!
Fantastic hidden gem 1hr from Jacksonville
Fantastic course with the views to back it up. Course played great with semi fast greens and over all great condition. The value vs reward was worth the drive and money paid to play. I will be back soon to enjoy again.
Awesome experience
We drove from Tampa to watch a Georgia Southern football game and decided to stop in Brunswick to play golf along the way. I never write reviews, but I feel compelled to write this one.
The course is in great shape. Tee to green it's great. Far better than most Florida courses. What I want to really comment on is the staff and the hospitality of all. From the pro shop to the starter to one of the maintaince employees, there was nothing but positive things to say about all. Too many times we get caught up in just the course, and don't reflect on the overall experience. On Friday, September 8th, Heritage Oaks was a 10+. Will definitely be back to play again.
Just all around a great course to play. Very generous for the lady's tee's on yardage. Perfect place to take the female golfer in your life.

We certainly hate to hear about your golf experience here at Heritage Oaks. The day you played was right after several inclement weather days of rain and gusty winds which impacted the course.
The golf course had over 5 inches of rain which caused us to be cart path only. We hope that you will return to HOGC and give us the opportunity to show you the outstanding golf course that we have here.
We do ask that if you decide to play again to call ahead so that we can update you on the course especially if we have had severe weather or any routine maintenance that might impact play.
We take great pride in our golf course and hope that you give us another chance to show you the reason why.
