Always very well groomed, maintained, and cared for. Long and wide, I can usually play with a sleeve of balls.

Two separate feelings.(FYI: I had been an asst. pro at two courses for over six years) First the bad. Walked into the pro shop to check in. I stood at the counter for almost a minute. Then, when he finally looks up... asks me "Do you need something?" He then checks me in and never thanks me for my business or gives me any instructions whatsoever for play that day(cart rule, start on one, running on time, etc..) Probably my worst experience ever checking in to play golf. Now the Good... The course was in fantastic shape.. The greens were probably the best I have played on in years. Absolutely perfect, smooth and quick.....I hated to leave those greens...edge to edge did not see a bad spot. The super should get a raise!

First time playing this course and it was in great shape. Greens were perfect and rolling fast. Fairways were perfect, no dry spots. It would be hard to lose a ball here except for the water on the course. I will go back again, a must play. If I remember correctly, it plays a little over 6500yds from the tips. A great secret out in the countryside.

This course is well maintained, but stay in the fairway, 2nd cut is deep and will almost cover your ball. Greens are sloped and fast with a lot of break. The snack bar is limited, and she was out of fresh brewed tea at the hottest part of the day. We were in there twice and she was on the phone the whole time, back to the course, I recommend a little practice on the putting green before starting your round just to get the feel of the greens.

This was the first time I played this course and was very satisfied. Well groomed and excellent layout, some of the greens had been sanded. The fairways were well established and cut with a rough not that terrible. Wide open fairways on the majority of the holes, with a few in the woods. A rangefinder or some other distance app would help as there are several holes that had hazards. Many times a lay up shot was the best choice. I'll be back.

Course is immaculate, wide fairways, green speed very fair and light rough. Course is a bit off the beaten path and terrific mountain scenery off in the distance. Place this course closer to metro Atlanta and it's easily $35.00 more per round. Anyone from Marietta & above on the I-75 side should make the trip.

Have not played here in a while. Nice surprise of the shape of this course. I give a hand to the maintenance who seem to be doing a great job. If the rough was a little higher this course would play tough with the addition of a couple of tee boxes I do not remember. Greens are a big deal for me. Bermuda needs a good double cut to keep some of the grain out. It was very hard to make a putt because of the grain. But I have to say knowing the past problems on this course with bent grass. The Bermuda is very welcome.

I wanted to play a round of golf with my brother before he left town and he lives near Chattanooga and I live in West Atlanta area so we were looking for a great value and course to meet. Really enjoyed this layout and round. Very playable for the middle handicap with enough challenge for the low handicap. We played the tips and it was very playable and in great shape. Yardage markets were a little different since most use the white for 150 and they have a yellow so pay attention to that when you start or just rely on your range finder. Greens very true and course in really good condition! Plenty of water coolers around the course which was really important to us playing in July with high heat. Would definitely reccomend this Calhoun area gem!

Course was in very good condition. Enjoyed the round of golf.

Greens were in great shape. A couple were bumpy from recent aeration, but otherwise very smooth and challenging.

so glad i played here. was about a 45 minute drive but it was well worth it. this course seems to be out in the middle of nowhere but it was easy to get to. loved the layout and it was very scenic. i have nothing bad to say about this course and would play again if i am in the area again. greens true and fast, fairways and rough in great shape

Fields Ferry is a great course and is in excellent shape. The layout is really good and requires a lot of different shots. Greens were fantastic, the best we've seen in a long time. Very smooth and true rolling. Also, very few other golfers on the course, so pace was perfect. Highly recommend!

Always in great shape, fun and challenging layout. Wish I lived closer to this gem.

My son, daughter in law and had a very enjoyable time playing this course. This outing was a birthday gift for my son.

The course was in great shape but cart path only for the day made it a longer day but all in all a great round of golf.

A bit of a drive to Calhoun, GA but if you are in the area this course is well worth the time and money. Almost a Southern California style course without the palm trees or eucaliptis trees. I walked away with a smile on my face and saw not one piece of trash anywhere on the course. And a 6 pack is 10.00!! Enjoy!

Very Nice Layout, Love the Greens, Fast but Fun.Rolls True for sure. Definitely will be back soon.

Plus the Hotdogs were amazing !!!
