AWFUL EMPLOYEES
My buddies and I wanted to try out a new course so we made the trip to Spring Lakes. Within 5 minutes we knew we wouldn't be back. The parking lot is right beside the backside of hole number 9; when I went to move my vehicle and back it in a parking space farther away, a groundcrew member sat behind me on a mower in a wide open parking lot yelling at me to "go" repeatedly. He sat behind me, blocking me from backing into the parking spot for a few minutes then finally turned around and took off shaking his head at me- -a few minutes later, we were on the putting green when another old, grumpy gentleman got in our cart (with our bags and belongings) and started to drive off. He drove past us, ignoring my friend politely saying it was our cart thinking he may have been confused. He finally parked the cart and said "it was in the way." The audacity of touching someone's property is one thing but the blatant disrespect to ignore a customer was baffling. The younger gentleman working the clubhouse was very professional and helpful but the rest of the staff was rude, disrespectful and made it clear they did not want new business on their course. I have heard stories about Chatsworth and sadly this reiterated everything I've heard. I wouldn't waste time or money going to this course again.
Better than expected
First time I played this course in a couple of years. I was surprised at the shale of the course. The fairways were decent but the greens were great. It could use a little work around the edges but all in all it is a great course for the money
Good Value
The fairways could use some work, but the greens were great. Good course for the money. Staff extremely friendly.
quick round
I've played this course many times. It is probably in the worst condition I have ever seen it. Greens didn't look very good but rolled very well. Fairways and tee boxes are terrible. Staff acted like they really didn't want to be there and didn't care if you were either. I hate to see it in this kind of condition. Could be a good course if someone would invest the effort into fixing it.
