Mossy Creek Golf Club

Staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. They always make our trip to the golf course memorable. The greens are in great shape and very clean as well. Will be going back again soon I promise.

Took a chance on this course. Here is the hard truth. I'm a single digits handicapper. I play all over the country. I just played Brass Town Valley in Young Harris Ga which is truly a 5 star mountain course. Mossy Oak is a nice course to walk as most of the tee boxed are directly next to greens. The greens were just punched 1st week in October. There is nothing spectacular about this course. The tee boxes are so close they had to put up a fence next to obe tee box. I got soaked on number 5 as they left the sprinklers on. Take the extra drive to Brass Town Valley or The Ridges Golf Club in Hayesville NC. If you want to play a mediocre mountain course then you found it.

If you're looking for a mountain course at a great price...look no further than Mossy Creek's $35 "Play All Day" deal. This was our first time playing the course but we loved the layout and even with it having been so dry the course played very fair. Tee boxes and fairways were good and greens were great. We teed off at 8, finished at noon, had great bacon cheeseburgers in the restaurant and headed out and played another 18. We would definitely play this course again.

We have played here many, many times over the years -- even when it was Skitt Mountain Golf Course well before it was bought and renamed. We frequently have purchased equipment and food when available, When we last played there two weeks ago, the person running the place actually treated us like some kind of lower class customer because we reserved a Hot Deal rate through Golfnow instead of paying the full walk up rate. I guess it is time to say "adios" to Mossy Creek and take our business elsewhere.

Lots of blind tee shots which was difficult on a busy day making sure not to bomb onto the group ahead of you. Overall great course, would love to come back once renovations are completed.

I live in Atlanta and on my way back from Memorial day vacation I found this course on the way. It's a short track but was very nice. If in the area I would definitely Play It Again. But I don't think I will drive from Atlanta to play it.

Beautiful day, awesome mountain views, pretty course in good shape, greens putt well, decent score. We left knowing we would be back.

This course is great! Love the old school design of layout. Short and sweet making you think when you are out there.

My buddies and I have been playing together going on 5 years and we have seen the most miraculous, positive transition at Mossy Creek! We play at least three times a month, sometimes more, and come to Mossy Creek because its local, clean, and the Staff really care about providing a nice place at a good price to enjoy a morning or afternoon of golf. We don't keep score but enjoy making an occasional "shot of the day" and in turn erupting into hooping and hollering like we have won the lottery.

Spring has Sprung at Mossy Creek, The fairways are filling in nicely and the greens are beautiful, renovations on 15 & 16 almost done , very good layout and demanding at times great value for the money

Enjoyable course. Greens were just aerated. Back nine was closed. Played front nine twice. Looking forward to going back to play when conditions are better.

we had to wait, being a twosome for a five some to go infront of us at our tee time. We had to wait on every shot. Passed them after eight and jumped to ten.

Staff is professional facilities are nice and the coarse is challenging

They have a great staff here. Love the greens, some of the best i've playeed, just wish people would repair their ball marks.

It is a wonderful course for seniors who are not long hitters and "spray" the ball some. For those who wish to walk, it is also friendly without huge elevation changes to sap one's energy between shots. It is just fun to play.
