Mossy creek
First time playing at this course. For the money it was an excellent value. The course itself was it decent shape. It was a little on top of itself in the form of holes being placed next to one another. Friendly staff and the pace of play was great. Played as a single no one placed with me and finished all 18 in about 3 hours and 20 min.
Excellent course for the $
Played this course last year, vast improvements sine then.I will definitely play this course again.
Perfect morning!
It was my first time using this service. The process was seamless and I was very pleased how easy it was. I will be using this again!
Getter better each year I go
Very short course that has challenges on the front nine. Holes one two and three are very tough. The back nine is very easy. Both par 5s are reachable in two from the tips, that's how short the course is. The greens were in the bet shape they've ever been there and the fairways were hit and miss with the quality.
Great afternoon getaway
This course was slow and played long on the day I played due to rain, but being from Arizona, I have learned that if you want to play golf in Georgia, you better get used to playing in the rain. The staff got me right out and I had a very relaxing round of golf. One thing here you don't have to worry about here, Mr. Joe golfer showing up and taking 10 minutes to read putts. Lots of locals here to take in the course and enjoy the game. Several sets of tees here make it kid and family friendly. The course has a ton of potential and I would suggest this course to beginners and families to learn the game. Its a nice little track with a fair price.
Needs some work
Understanding we played in March and just after a day of rain, we expected the course to be a bit soggy. It was cart-path-only play but most of the holes were not wet enough to warrant the entire course to be off limits to carts. The greens were in bad shape with some sort of weed growth that I hope they can fix. And the course must have made some modifications as our GPS didn't match the distances on some of the holes. Overall it was better than a day without golf.
Good Course for the Money
Overall, I would probably play here again. Greens were nice and rolled well, fairly easy to read. I am a novice golfer and I was sinking putts. Distance off the tee box is almost unnecessary due to the shorter length of the course. But accuracy is needed on several holes. The course was not in amazing shape, but that is probably more to due with the winter and the recent rains. Staff was friendly and helpful, even gave directions on where to start. Problems arose after the front nine in finding the next holes. The course is not exactly laid out in an intuitive manner. Small green signs with a number and an arrow were all that directed you to the hole and those signs were not well placed. Fairways are pretty wide and only several holes had challenge when it came to hazards. I very much enjoyed the view and relaxing time out there. Definitely worth a try if you are nearby, but if not I wouldn't go out of your way to play here. Plenty of other places that are better.
Nice course
This was a very nice course to play. Greens were nice and fairways were challenging enough to keep it interesting.
Passing through
An ok course for the small town. Not anything spectacular. Fairways have a lot of different types of grass. Greens were slow thick carpet type. I have not played many courses with these type greens. This is about a $20.00 round location to work on irons into the small greens and two putt close pick up and move on.
Wet and Wild
Tough round following a hard downpour. Course is wet always but today was tough. Grounds look much better than in the past.
Great Budget Round
First 9 is an interesting mix of uphill, downhill, and dog leg holes. Second 9 starts off with a par 5 and ends with a par 3, but holes 11-17 are pretty repetitive. This is a great course to come to on a budget, and have a great time. The course was in better condition than years past. Greens and fairways are cut smooth, and greens are forgiving. This course was in rough shape 5 years ago, and gets better every season. I look forward to playing it again the next time I'm in town.
Great value
Mossy Creek is consistently in great shape and in my opinion has some of the best views anywhere! As of this writing the fairways and greens are exceptional. It is one of the best values for the money in Northeast Georgia in my book and I heartily recommend it. Can't wait to go again!
6 players
I played on Sunday and there were three teams of six out there.you can imagine how long eighteen took with three teams of six.rules should followed
Great and challenging course.
Great course with enough tough holes to test you but not so much as to discourage you either.
Great value for the money
Not a very long course, but a very enjoyable experience. I wish there was a driving range on site but there is one right down the road. Only other downside is there were lots of ball marks on greens and the fringes have some bare areas. But for the money you can't beat it.
One of north Georgia's best values
Course drained well after a heavy day of rain and was 90• rule. Played as a single met up with a couple other golfers and we played in less than 3 hours! Greens in good shape as were the fairways. Excellent value for the price. Will definitely return.
Mossy Creek
Friendly staff. Could use a practice area. No range available. 45 minutes from Buford.
Nice course
Staff very friendly when we came in the door. Not a real long course so very couple friendly.
