Harbor Club on Lake Oconee

The course is in great condition but unfortunately we were rained out...I tried canceling thru the Golf Now app but you had no record of me....so I canceled with Harbor Club .....the problem with that nobody in Pro Shop would answer phone from 6:45 to 9:20am so I left a message canceling our 9:40 tee time......

The green fees were reduced because they have recently aerated the greens. They weren’t bumpy but very sandy and slow. I would have rated course conditions 5 star if the greens were in tip top shape. But at least Golfnow alerted about the greens so I knew what to expect. The pace of play was slow - took almost 5 hours to finish the round. Overall I enjoyed the round but I wouldn’t want to pay regular price. $$$

Great lineup of holes, some challenging holes and some great par 3s. Few dog legs and blind hill shots. If aeration was not taking place I am sure the conditions would have been excellent. Nice clubhouse and very friendly staff! Bathroom facilities on the course were clean and well maintained, especially during these COVID times. Pre-round golf range was well stocked with balls and one of the better ranges I have been on with multiple flags and pole markers.

Greens were in great shape. We played right after a big storm the night before. The range was closed. It was cart path only, which it should’ve been. The course is in great shape, I would like to play it again when it’s a little bit dryer. There are some unique risk reward holes and some good Par. 5’s.

It was pretty disappointing to pay nearly $100 to play mid day on a Thursday and be forced to warm up off mats, especially when it was 100 degrees outside and hadn't rained in weeks. Not only was it mats only there was a waiting line to hit and then once a spot opened up there were few balls available. Someone should have been picking the range and keeping it stocked.

The course was in overall good shape and the greens are rolling true.

Had a great time . Sand traps are not consistent. Some soft sand some red ..... almost clay.

Interesting course. No two holes alike and some varied terrain . Greens were well designed and held the ball will. I liked the sizes of the greens. They were in decent shape but not top notch. The Club needs to spend some money on the tees but they were certainly playable if somewhat torn up and not level in some places. Fun course overall.

2nd rime playing this course. Great layout and good course conditions. Greens are almost all healed from punching but rolled smooth. Pace was good for a busy Saturday. Always a pleasure to play. Love the area and lake. Can’t wait to play it again.

Tight, typical neighborhood course with lots of OB if you get errant with the tee ball. Loved the layout though with lots of risk/reward shots all over the course and other holes that you really had to carefully think your way around. Only reason I didn't give 5 stars across the board was the greens were recently aerated and felt the conditions warranted a reduced price (Putts still rolled mostly true, just slower than normal).. Overall, thoroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back to hopefully catch the course in peak condition.

Booked a "hot deal" for $54 which came to $62 including fees. Played with a guy who paid $50 just walking on? Front 9 was closed and we found out after we booked and arrived at the course so had to play back 9 twice? Also found out they aerated the greens after we got there? Course was wet but in nice shape overall. Not worth the money we paid. Spoke with the pro shop and they provided us with a rain check for 9 holes

Loved this course! My average rating on the amenities is a little skewed because when we arrived, the restaurant and the driving range were both closed due to Covid-19 staffing issues, I'm sure under normal conditions, they would be excellent as well... That being said, I loved the layout of the course and those greens... A member that went out before us warned us about them. The warning was appreciated but it still didn't keep me from making too many 3 putts. Loved the challenge and I'll be back!

mucky conditions did not take away from great layout/tract. Highly recommend.

Played with a group of 8, all with varying skill levels. Course was challenging but forgiving enough, with a unique mix of hole layouts (7th hole was personal favorite). All in all made for a great outing.

A good second choice to play golf with my son on a Sunday afternoon. Even though the course was WET, the course was still in decent shape. Very friendly and helpful staff. We be back once it dries out
