Nice fall round

Very pretty in the fall, layout is a challenge taking advantage of the hills and valleys. Greens were good, some rough spots due to runoff but mostly very good.

Golf course review

Factor in that we played this course in the middle of Summer, but with CPO following regular showers over the previous few days.

I found the course to be in fairly good condition overall, with the greens probably a little above average. It was overall a fair test of golf, but perhaps a little narrow off the tee for those like me that spray them from time to time.

I don't think anyone would go home unhappy having played at Bent Tree, but overall, I found myself a little disappointed playing it for the first time. I love mountain courses in general, but this one seemed to lack any of the spectacular vistas you typically see in this sort of area. Everything seemed just a little enclosed somehow, with fairways carved through dense forested areas on both sides. Also, the range was pretty tatty and with only a few bays available - not particularly well suited for hosting large events like the one I was attending.

The club is Private and may well offer excellent value for money to its membership. Personally however, I much prefer the layouts at some of the other mountain courses nearby such as Old Toccoa Farms (Semi-private course in Blue Ridge) and (also Private) Big Canoe Club.

Bent Tree Golf Course

Bent Tree is a private golf community in the North Georgia mountains. It is one the best golfing communities for your money. The 18 hole layout is very hilly and wildlife is all over the course. I highly recommend visiting this course if you get the chance!

Worst customer service ever!

There was nothing good about the service at this course. Bag drop was not helpful. We went in to get a quick bite to eat. We had to ask for menus after several minute of waiting. The waitress waited on other people around us but not us. They weren't even busy. The course was just OK. Pace was a bit slow. When we finished our round, we wanted to go to the restroom and wash our hands. It was about 5pm and they were CLOSED, DOORS LOCKED. We had guests with us too. This was really an unfortunate experience. I will never pass on a good word about this course.

Fast Greens and A Beautiful Layout

On a cold, windy day a North Georgia mountain course was a challenge. Greens were excellent and very fast, course leaf free in fairways and rough (a challenge in November), and course design is top shelf and enjoyable at 6200-6500 yds.

Great layout and in very good condition

My buddy and I went up to Bent Tree because we found a Hot Deal ($18) to go up there and play. The course is set back in a large community and is easy to find once you get past the gates. We were paired up with 2 other guys who were very nice and easygoing which always makes the round more enjoyable. The course was in great condition. Fairways were very nice and the greens were firm but rolled true and had some speed to them. They were a good challenge. The only downside to our round was the pace of play was a tad slow as we waited on quite a few shots, and unfortunately the back 9 was cartpath only because of the rain they had received the day before. I'm used to playing golf very quickly, so most golfers wouldn't even notice the pace of play. Only really bad waiting spot was the first hole or 2 after we made the turn. All in all, a great course and a real pleasurable experience. The holes vary a good bit so you don't get bored and the holes are set apart from each other so you aren't right next to other fairways and greens which is always nice. Also, once you pass the gate into the community, keep your eyes out for grazing deer. They value wildlife very highly in this community and I drove by 6 or 7 deer that were no more than a yard off of the road. Luckily the deer are so used to people and cars that none of them jumped in front of the car, just keep your eyes peeled just in case.

Bent Tree

Fun course that has challenging shots into the greens that are usually blind and surrounded by bunkers. Bring your GPS as it will save you a few strokes. If not wet a fun course that requires all clubs in the back. Look for the deals as it is a deep course off the beaten path. HOT Deals!! Gotta Love golf Now.

Picturesque and the best bent grass greens in Georgia.

I absolutely loved playing this course and can't wait to go back.
I played from the back tees and found most of the holes easy enough. The greens were fabulous. I can't remember playing ones better than these. They all rolled at the same speed to boot. If you can't hit it straight or shape your shots bring plenty of golf balls.
Bent Tree is a gem and really fun to play. After you finish the 19th. hole beers will only cost you $1.75. I'm telling you, you can't ask for more.

Great mountain course with scenic views.

The course was in great shape; however, still damp from all the recent rain. Play was slower than expected. Staff at the club were very friendly. The mountain stream along the course combined with the views make this a great deal.

Bring you camera also. Very nice course you'll enjoy it

My only recommendation is that they pay more attention to all the fairway & green side bunkers. MORE sand needed...very hard. Some more dirt then sand.

Greens were great and rolled nicely. Fairway very nice. Great value and scenery was outstanding. Play and enjoy.
