I love this course for the challenge and the people.
As a member for over 7 years, I have seen many improvements and they are continuously making more improvements. The staff is very friendly and helpful. As is the team working the fairways and greens. the clubhouse has everything you will need to play, and the hotdogs are super. They have rental clubs as well.
The course is very playable
The course is very playable. I play this course Once or twice a week the staff is great and the course is well-maintained

Shared Fairway......
Every courses shared others courses.. example, 1st tee's fairway shared 2nd tee's fairway...
It's very dangerous course and busy because some fairway playing 8 persons...OTL
lots of fun
problem with greens spotting green and brown but did not impact putting. greens were soft and spongy.
course had lots of up and down fairways and was lots of fun.
Fun round
Very open and forgiving course. Lots of roll on the fairways. Greens very tough. Some are unbelievably undulating and fast while others were hard to hold. All in all a great course to play especially for the money.
Excellent course for the money.
Rainy day. Most golfers had decided to give up for the day. Waited for the rain to slack up and then proceeded to play. Almost no one else on the course. Rained lightly first 6 holes and then cleared up. Course had excellent drainage, fairways and greens were in superb condition. Good course for the money.
no grass , all grass was dead
once the grass grow this course will be much, much better,
Best way to spend a Saturday.
Staff is always friendly make you feel at home. Course is well maintained. Very peaceful day.
Difficult greens
It took about 15 minutes late to start. Also, it took a little over 5 hours to finish 18 holes, and we did not even have lunch break after 9 holes.
The conditions of the course was overall good, but there were a few impossible greens.
The value was excellent for a weekend rate.
Great course. Staff super friendly. First time there .
Everyone was very friendly. The pace was slow to start off due to heavy frost in the morning so everyone was backed up for an hour or so. Once play started everyone kept the pace going. Greens were in excellent shape. Back nine more difficult than the front nine. Excellent warm up facilities. Driving chipping and putting. Had a great time with the family. Great advantage for the ladies tees. Wife loved it.
Grate course - green was are huge
Great couse, expect to 3 port , there are a few holes that are quite long, looking forward to playing the course again.
Wide Open
This course is a little out of the way but somewhere to work on your game. Wide open fairways! If you are off on your game this will help you out as if you are errant off the tee then you can usually find your ball since you may be in the other fairways. The back 9 tightens up a bit but is still open. Greens are tricky. Nothing flat so you are either putting uphill, sidehill or downhill. Good luck with that!
Great public course!
I played Cedar Lake for the first time on 12/13/14. The staff was as nice as can be, got paired up with 3 others and we still kept up pace. For December, the course was in excellent condition. I will definitely be back.
Great Price/Pace of play/Nice course
Great Price/Pace of play/Nice course...better shape than more expensive courses in the area.
fun even in the cold
Played this course for the 30th time this year and it's in great condition. to be freezing every night greens tee boxes and everything in between were in awesome shape.
Golfing in the cold
Had a great time playing in the cold. The course was wide open. I asked the staff to put on some hot dogs so when I made the turn. They were good and hot. Going back.
1st fairway does not share second tees fairway.
1st fairway shares 9th fairway.
4 somewhat shares 5th not sure where you played but it wasn’t cedar lake it really isn’t dangerous I’ve played this course over 20 times and have never once thought it was dangerous
