great course
this was a great course to play the eighteenth green was the hardest. the greens were in great shape, i will be back
Slowest greens on earth
Course isn't in bad shape. Fairways are a little hard and sparse but playable. Biggest concern is the greens. They are Bermuda and are the length of most fairways. Takes a full swing for a 10ft putt.
always forgiving,
of the several times I've played there, it's always a great course to play. Course openess doesnt require accuracy, but the greens really make u focus on putting and placement.
As always the course was in good shape, greens were a bit slower that normal, but overal made for a great round of golf.
so if u want a course that doesnt frustrate u over errand shots, and want to work on ur scramble game and putting skills...........Cedar Lake is the course
Great Course
The fairway was good. Enjoyed our time on yesterday.
Great course - slow play
Slow play sometimes - scheduling issues - need to do better job by staggering tee times
Slowest greens ever
Avoided this course for a while after disapointment with greens. Heard from someone that greens improved. Gave em another chance. Nope still the same.
Good experience
course is in good shape accept the greens. they are a little sketchy.
Great Value
The course was in very good shape. The front side is easier than the back side. The staff was very friendly and helpful as we had not played this course before, they went out of there way to give us pointers. Carts are almost brand new.
Fun course to play.
Very good course for the Money. Staff is very friendly
The course is good to play.
Except the hole cup area on the greens was very poor.
The course provides good exercise with the walk to the greens from the cart.
Best value in town
This is one of the best priced course around. You get more than what you pay for. The staff is the friendliest in Gwinnett. It will challenge any level golfer.
Close By
Course close to grayson, winder, Loganville, and Monroe. Fun course but a little too open, and easy to drive into the someone else's fairway and vice versa.
Friday
The course is in good shape and the back 9 is as hard as any. Shot a 77 and was very proud!
Not happy
I originally booked a tee time on golf now for $17. However, when I arrived, the guy in the pro shop told me that that is only the 9 hole fee and that it will actually cost me $28 per player. Nowhere on golf now did it say anything about it only being a 9 hole tee time. I was extremely unhappy with the pricing. Then, the course was in poor condition. The greens had huge spots of dead grass and the the grass in the fairways way very dry and dead looking. Overall, I was not happy with this course. I will most likely never play it again.
Fun simple course needs some work on the greens.
Played my first 36-hole round here. They have all you can play Wednesdays which is freakin awesome. The fairways are wide with little rough. Exposed granite flows around this place making it very beautiful and picturesque.
It's difficult to get a grip on the greens though. Some were fast, some were slow. They could definitely use some TLC. Fun simple course tucked away in the back of a little town called Walnut Grove. Play it. You'll enjoy it!
open fairways
Nice course. Pace was a little slow. But overall enjoyed the day.
Nice open fairways. ...
Real Par Fives
True par5's on the Back side. You have to make some great shots if you plan on any birdies on the three par 5's on the back. Front is very open and the back is very tight.
Good course
Had a great time playing this course. Average of user friendly holes and difficult holes.
Cedar Lake is a great golf course.
They have it all here. Driving range, you can chip and practice putting before teeing off. The front nine has challenging holes, but with the water on the back nine you better save some energy. K
Good Value
There were a few "so-so" conditions on a couple of fairways and greens, but overall a nice test for a beginner like me.
One more item, the staff are very nice!
