Saw a great deal in golf now and I took it. Everything started well until I got to no.6 and couldn’t find my way to the 7th hole and kept getting turned around. I’m at some point I thought I should just find the way to the club house and start beating the hour long traffic back home because it would have been easier and faster than going around looking for the next tee. After the turn two rude people cut in front of me and I was stuck playing behind two of the slowest players I have ever encountered. Usually I go in my phone and find a series on Netflix to keep myself busy on slow days, but this was not working. The only thing going for this course is the staff.

Great Municipal Course
Cotton Fields may be past its prime, but it is still a great place to play some budget friendly casual golf. Don’t let the scorecard fool you it’s only 6500 from the back tees; however, the fairways are tight and many bunkers have become waste areas that are extremely punishing. The greens are slow but smooth, play for a little release even well played shots from the fairway aren’t going to hit and sit. Overall I enjoy Cotton Fields as somewhere to work on ball striking and have fun. Don’t expect country club conditions, you get what you pay for.

Nice back 9 - Very friendly staff
Played the course for 1st time, visiting a friend in the area. Very pleasantly surprised, especially after playin the back 9. Most fairways, tee boxes, and greens were in good condition. Greens were low for my liking, but I was told there has been a decent amount of rain in the area. They also care for veterans. Will definitely be back when I’m back in the area.

Very nice golf course
It was my first time playing the course and I was pleasantly surprised what great shape it was in! My only complaint is getting lost between holes 6 & 7 due to lack of signage but it made for an interesting day.
Greens, fairway, tee boxes were all in great condition, the weather was perfect and the course was fun!

Course was fine but pace of play was terrible
Played on a Saturday morning and took over 3 hours to play the front 9 so we left

The staff continues to improve the course
As the title states, this course continues to be improved. The greens and fairways were beautiful, though there are areas that still need to be addressed. The cart paths need a lot of work and the driving range could use some TLC, but overall I would (and did) recommend this course to my friends.
