Great outting
I loved the course and so diid my son and two grandsons. As a retired senior I have to get the best price for playing and usually that means conditions are what you pay for, In this case We got more than we paid for. The course is only 22 miles from me and thats good.
Love the people and the course
Gaining Momentum
This club is getting better since the new owners rode into town; I play here regularly, and it keeps getting better. They've installed a nice new tee box on 12 and gotten rid of a few of aggravating Eisenhowers. However, since they are continually working on it, beware of the groundskeepers--they don't seem to understand that chainsaws and mowers are distractions. The pro shop will overcharge if you don't watch them, but as long as their prices stay on par with the overall experience, I'll recommend CP for a nice outing.
Cherokee Pines
I found the course in fairly good shape. The greens were receptive and in respectable shape, not too fast. There are some renovations ongoing, but that did not interfere with the pace of play. Too many geese, as is common with all golf courses in the south.
Country, Country Club
Older course with some quirky holes. Smallish greens. Not too long, but reasonably challenging. Pretty well maintained. Friendly staff and many deals available.
good course
nice layout plays in a good run has nice fairways and the bunkers are in good shape
