Two totally different courses.
Loved the back longer and more opened. Two totally different 9s. I like to grip it and rip it. I am not a shot maker. Which is why I would prefer the back over the front. You could play the front nice twice and the back nine twice . Play two totally different 18 hole courses on the same track. Haven't seen to many like this that vary this drastically. I enjoyed it. Would probably enjoy the front more if I knew the lay out. Would be nice if they offered a yardage book or some kind of map for the holes. Even on the back it could get a little strange on direction to the next hole.
You get what you pay for...
Just like it says...$25.00 will get you a person behind the counter that could care less if you are there or not. Never bothered to put out hohotdogs or offer to put some out. Greens are horrible... good luck on seeing the hole layout on the back nine. Won't be back.
Great course
Pace of plat was great once the tournament was over. We played as a twosome and played under 3 hours.
Wonderful course layout
I always enjoy this course. However, I noticed a few of the tee greens need some attention. And on the back nine- could use some better directional signs and an outline showing the fairways. Otherwise, the course is great and always friendly staff. I highly recommend the course.
Great layout
Basically two different courses from front to back but greens are always great. Nice layout. Will test you as a golfer but fun course. Will be back!
Nice layout
I've played this course maybe 6 times over the last 12 years , the reason I don't play it more as it's a 200 mile round trip for us & I have to convince my playing partners it's in good shape & worth the drive, it's never as good as it was the 1st & 2nd time I played it. I called the pro shop yesterday morning & explained to the lady we had a long trip & asked the corse conditions & was told it's playing really good. When we teed of we found the front 9 was 90 degrees as it was wet & all 18 greens looked like they were airiated last week & the greens were slow & everything hopped when you putted. I also checked golf advisor & it said the were punched in June? I'm a member of 2 courses within 20 miles of me but chose to drive 200 miles round trip all because of the pro shop & a review which is incorrect. Other than course conditions I like this course, I just would like to play it in good shape.
Hidden Gem
Greens were in excellent shape. Sand traps were compacted. Lots of doglegs and since it was my first time playing this course found myself driving thru doglegs more than I would have preferred. Back nine is links style. Wide open with lots of risk/reward holes. A couple drivable par fours. Overall, I enjoyed the course. Total time for round was 3hrs 20 minutes.
Best course I've ever played.
I love this course. It's very challenging and it's two different courses in one. They know me by name here and it's awesome.
The back 9 links was a pleasant surprise
This course was a lot of fun to play. Just a real cool layout. The front nine is a hilly tree lined experience, then you take about a ten minute cart ride to the 10th tee and you are on another planet. 10-18 are on a wide open plain, wind exposed and tricky links style layout. Its at least 5 shots harder. The fairways are wide but watch out for 18, don’t hit your driver there.
Thumps up
All the rain had the course green and pretty, it's a small course that requires some shape on every drive. No so challenging that it's frustrating as the green were large and would hold the ball. They had just ariated the greens so the roll wasn't great but that's to be expected when u the do that kind of work. The back nine is more of a kind style layout and you'd better find the fairway or just off or your gonna need another ball. Enjoyed the course and will see go back.
Weird
When the grass reappears conditions should get much better. Fast greens! Front and back are TOTALLY different! Back is as links as it can get.
30 mph wind was very much a factor
The back nine was ehhhhh. On the other hand holes 16-17 were great. The rest are great if you don’t want to lose a ball. Layout of the back would have to be a 3/5 for me. It was in good shape, but I can imagine even on a not so windy day it’s still hard for your ball not to move too much. The front nine was very nice though and a scenic course as well. Front nine layout 5/5. It was a three club wind on the back hitting 9 irons 175 and drivers less than 200 into the wind. I didn’t see a single soul 3 holes behind us or in front of us, so pace of play is out of this world. The wind was moving my ball on the green, so good luck reading putts. Overall great day on the course.
Fastest greens anywhere.
Everything about this course is great, especially the lightning fast greens and all-around condition of the course. The back nine is a links-style layout completely different from the front nine. A fun and challenging course!
Good time for your money
Me and a coworker was headed to Orlando for meeting but we would stop and play golf this course was very nice and we had a very good don’t recommend it to anyone who likes a challenge playing golf
Fun
Front 9 tree lined with different challenges. Back nine is links style where you should not lose a ball unless you can't cover the water on 17. Enjoyed the layout.
