Savannah Country Club

The course is in very good shape. Played this course when it was the Savannah Inn. Would definitely play again.

Do not miss a chance to play this Donald Ross design. We played after a storm so limbs were down and bunkers need raking , but design and routing were sublime. I have played very few Ross designs but this will make you search them out. Plays muuch longer than yardage. A delight.

Very nice course with friendly staff. They come pick you up at the parking lot and have range balls included. The course has challenging greens that though they had a layer of sand still rolled very well. Worth playing.

First time using GolfNow. Nice course and good pace of play. Sand traps need soft white sand. They were in need of more sand. All things considered great course with beautiful back 9.

Course is in great shape. The staff and facilities are top notch. Green fees are low in my opinion for the quality of the course so it is a great value.

Course had a lot of rain earlier in the day. But you wouldn't know it. It drains really well. Wet areas few and far between. Will definitely play again sometime when I am in the area.

The only negative to the course was the greens were very SANDY and HARD don't know if they are always like that but all in all great course and I would play it again

Excellent challenge for any golfer whose handicap is above 8 or so. It's in good shape and the greens are particularly difficult.

Course is in great shape. Greens roll really good. Golf shop staff were awesome. Wish the bar could be open before 11.

Played with my wife early with not a lot if folks around. Course was in good shape for the winter. Fairways were not over seeded but didn't need them. Greens rolled well but had some poa invasion.

It was very scenic with the trees and moss. Good value with Golfnow.

Not a bad course. Cash only on the turn for beverages and food. No ATM. Very friendly staff.

Very tough course. Nice old course design but not much of a wow factor. It is at the end of their season and the greens were a little slow. Grass on fairway was very sparse. I probably wouldn't play this again until next summer. In fact for the money and if you have the time you are better off driving to Hilton Head. Pace of play was a little slow.

I really love a well manicured course, this is what you get when you play The Wilmington Island Country Club. First things first get to the course early and hit the driving range it will definitely pay off once you tee it up. I must say the course is well marked and the greens are huge but make sure your approach shot at least hit the green because the green side bunkers are deep and the greens are fast. Beautiful course from start to finish will play there again without hesitation.

If you like an old style golf course, you will love this Donald Ross design. No tricky or gimmicky holes, but no boring holes either; a challenge. Very good condition, and a great course to walk.

Fairways are tight, hard and bare to space.
Greens are hard without any hold or check.
Bunkers are inconsistent
They need a head greens-keeper..

This course so much potential scary. Shame that course was in horrible shape, especially greens

Beautifully maintained country club course. Very few doglegs making it a "grip it and rip it" course. Just hit it up the middle and you won't find any trouble. Lots of sand traps around the greens to catch you on errant approach shots. Water in play on only 6 holes. Rough was cut almost as short as most other courses fairways making missing the fairway no big deal.

This is one of my new favorites! Had no idea what I was missing. The course is narrow enough to challenge yet wide enough to be fair. Greens have plenty of variation and none of the gimmicks you may see on newer courses.
We will definitely play here again!

nice fairways, tees and fast greens that will hold for a good shot. need to be a good judge of yardage, markers are on sprinkler heads to the center, no 150 markers post that I remember, this is a good think for how a holes looks and a not so good when you can not find a sprinkler head. Anyway, looking forward to playing this "old school course" again.

Went while on vacation in Savannah. The course was average. I would recommend to those wanting a quick place to play for a decent price.
