Worth it
This course has made a great come back from years past. The practice area is top notch. The course itself is in very good shape. A good challenge from the championship tees for me as the course plays 7,000 yards. There is a very good variety of holes and designs. When I played the greens were 9/10 condition and rolling about 9 on the stimp meter. Yes I own one. The tees were 8/10. The fairways were 7/10. The rough was short and very fair. My only complaint is that they cut down all the trees in the parking lot. So no shade to park your car under. Bring gnat repellent as you are below the gnat line here. Ask about the membership if you live nearby. Oh yeah. They redesigned that one bad par four on the back. It's much better now.
Great course
Corse is in great shape. Couple of paths could use some work, but no big deal
Don't Play!
We couldn't play last Saturday(#353122635).
I don't know why, but the Southern Landings Golf Club says they don't work with golf now.
I want to hear the exact explanation of this and think it should be refunded.
Enjoyable Round!
Course in great shape! Greens played consistent all day. In my opinion, best valued course in the area.
Extremely slow!
Booked as a single an paired with 2 others. Tee time was 12:23I was there 30 minutes early. Went to range after being shown who I was playing with. I hit about 10 balls before man in Pro shop drove out to the range to tell me my group was heading to #1. This was about 10 minutes early. So I proceeded to #1 where we waited approximately 20 minutes to tee off. There are no rangers or starters here. The 2 gentlemen I played with were great and play here often. I have played courses all over and don't mind waiting a bit. But this was terrible. After 3 hours and 15 minutes we had played 11 holes .There were 4 groups on 1 hole most of the day. We even had a member go around us and jump in between us and group ahead. The course itself was fine. Very fast greens. If you like 6+ hour rounds this is the place for you. My partners said this is the way it is everyday. Will not be returning.
Hilton Head greens in Warner Robins
Course was in overall very good shape and the greens were great and played fast (which I love). Pace was a bit on the slower side, but that was just because they were busy, nothing they can do about that. For the price that it is, this is easily the best in the area. It is on par with some Hilton Head, South Carolina courses.
Early Season Fairways, Greens are True and Great Staff!
Great welcome from the gentleman behind the counter in the pro shop. Greens roll True and Fast! Fairways I believe are very early Season as they were very short and patchy. Cart paths need a lot of work.
However, for the Price on Golf now this was a great value.
Competitive Course
The Landings never disappoints even after a few days with 40 mph winds!
Nice Day
Overall the course was well worth the money . Driving range is good .
Great Shape as always
Amazing how good these guys are at growing grass, greens perfect
That "bad" par-4 was the most challenging in Middle GA! It's the one GolfNow is showing above. Whereas that used to be the tee shot, then across the pond the green is now in front of the pond. But GSGA said it was unfair and wouldn't hold tournaments here because of it. Who said golf was fair? :-)
