Landfill of Golf Courses
I’ve played at Pine Hills about a dozen times. But I will never step foot back in that dump. They over book the course and it makes it impossible to keep a decent pace of play. On top of that the greens are not kept in good condition and they have mud and rocks in the “fairways”. If you are looking to play at a course where they will always give you a tee time and you have 5-6 hours to play 18 holes and you don’t mind messing up your clubs and putting on dead grass then this is your spot. Have at it, because I am not giving them another dime. They also boast about having “the best hot dogs in Winder”…. Well I’m here to tell you where they can shove that hot dog.
Overall great experience
Can’t beat the price and the staff is super friendly.
Walmart of golf facilities
33 dollars is a joke for this place, it is a cow pastor with what they call a “fairway” the greens are terrible mine as well pick up your ball once your on the green, or do your self the favor and putt on your living room carpet for practice bc that’s what you’ll be doing here
First time
For the money, I thought it was pretty good. Pace of play on back 9 was horrible. Had a group of 5 that was slow as could be. Marshall did nothing and the group didn’t care.
GREAT value for the money, excellent for novice players
Can't beat the course for the price. Course was in decent condition, perfectly fine for novice players. Staff is very accommodating, friendly, and helpful. Would recommend to a friend and will definitely be back in the future!
Slow Greens
Enjoyed the course and round except greens were really slow and bumpy at times. Lost probably 5-6 strokes trying to adjust to greens. Otherwise great layout and good value for price.
1st time for everything!
I have passed on this course several times for whatever reason, so I decided to give it a shot. And I’m glad I did, from the friendly welcome by the couple behind the register to just the people that were all in line behind me waiting patiently as if they were not 1st timers. The fairways were in good shape and greens were slow but I didn’t have an issue with them…just hit it harder. Tee boxes were hit and miss at times but my biggest complaint was that I hadn’t given this course a chance. I will be back again, like next week and plan on getting my friends to come also.
Great course for the average golfer
Great course for the average golfer. Nice clientele and staff. No pressure and it's wide open.
Kevin's Winder Play
This is a good course to go practice on. Its inexpensive and the day we went it wasn't overcrowded. The greens were a little slow, but it s a great chance to get out and get. a round in at a reasonable rate.
Kev & Linda
Good older public course. Great for practicing the game
