Always a good one
Best bang for the buck, greens were absolutely perfect this round.
Home course will always play with friends and family and the staff treats you like family
A good course for beginners or to use as a practice round
Worth the $28 for a practice round. I will play again. Fairways need a lot of work. Lots of dirt patches. Greens are very slow. You can see a slight remanence of the aeration that must have happened a few weeks ago. Course layout is fun and can be challenging. Pictured is hole number 3, from the blue tees.
Pine Hills is awesome!
This place really knows what they are doing. The pricing for the golf with a cart can not be beat. In addition the food and drink prices are unheard of, you can get a hotdog and a coke for 3 bucks!!! The staff are so friendly and helpful.
No rushing around trying to stay up with the groups in front of you. Everybody will just let you play thru or play with them. Such nice people. Would recommend this place to all of my friends. Thank you Pine Hills!
Good Price-Value
I suppose that the greens were undergoing some recovery work, due to some marks, in general lines, yes, I play golf there again...
I liked it, in this my second time
Greens were rough
Wouldn’t have been so bad if the greens were sanded after aerating. Putting was impossible.
Good beginner course
I recently just started playing about a month and a half ago. A buddy mentioned this place to me as he used to play here when he was younger. I’ve been every weekend since I’ve started and I can say this.
The course is great for the price. I wouldn’t expect water stations at holes or perfect greens but for the price and starting out golf this is a good place. You can expect tee boxes to be more dirt than green at some holes. I like that there’s 3 holes to hit over the water. Also they do sell hotdogs and water. The driving range is all dirt mostly you have to find your grass spots to get some good iron hits in. But I mean for 35 bucks you can’t beat it.
If you’re not hitting under 100 then I don’t see the need to complain about course conditions. A great player could come out here and make PAR every hole it’s not as bad as some reviews have made it out to be. I do understand the slowness of pace. I’ve been out there about 4-5 times and it’s always been at least 3-4 hours to finish a 18. But like I said 35 bucks with a cart you can’t beat it. So I will always go to this course great staff and great price.
Crazy this place is still open
If you looking too have fun with buddy’s who never play golf sure go here. If your looking too scratch every iron you have definitely go too pine hills. My front yard has softer ground then this place. Tee boxes are legit sand traps. Fairways are country grass and weeds. Greens are so long you’ll regret practicing there for when you go too a actual well maintained course. Spend the extra 25-35$ on a nicer course of your going too play serious and want too have a decent game !!! Will never go back too this cow pasture
Pine Hills - Must Try
I really enjoy Pine Hills and its staff. It is a course that knows it may not have the nicest of amenities compared to other nearby spots, more than makes up for it in friendly staff and an overall good time. The club house offers excellent $3 hot dogs and everyone is very accommodating and friendly.
Good to play with value for mo ey.
Although the course is not luxurious, it is good to enjoy golf with friends or family. Especially for the beginners.
Nice but slow
It was my first time playing here and I liked the course in general. I was paired up with some guys that helped me navigate the course. It was already a slow pace but that was exasperated by the fact that 4 staff members, according to an employee, jumped in front of the group in front of us on the 10th tee and slowed us down.
Won’t go again
Not worth the drive and the regulars that thought they own the place and we should just step aside while they dangerously hit into our group. We finished our round in less than 4 hours so no justification for their behavior. If you don’t have time to play a round, stay home and do your yard work.
