Raccoon Creek Golf Course
About
The Raccoon Creek Golf Course is a public, 18-hole golf course in Littleton. It covers 7,045 yards from its longest tees and plays to a par of 72. The course has some difficult elements, such as elevation changes, but it is still beginner-friendly. Water hazards come into play on seventeen holes. The most difficult hole of the course, one of the most difficult in Colorado according to the Colorado Golf Associates, is the par-3 17th hole. The hole runs alongside a creek, the creek that the course is named after, and requires a shot over a portion of it to a very well protected green.

Great fall conditions
A little breezy on a sunny, fall day. The course is still green and in really good shape. Lot's of geese make for parts of the course to be pretty messy, but I guess that's expected on a course with water on it.
The greens were still relatively fast and smooth for the most part. This course gets lots of play, so not all the ball marks get repaired. They're still adhering to the COVID limitations, so no rakes in the bunkers.
The pace of play was about 4 hrs and 15 min, which seems to be acceptable, though we found ourselves waiting on several holes, particularly on the back-9. The Marshal's seem to be ornamental, as they didn't speak to us, nor ask any groups to pick up the pace.
The layout centers around the bodies of water and the creeks, which make it interesting and fun. Several holes you have to stop and think before you just bomb away with the driver. The GPS on the carts are a nice touch and helpful if you've never played the course before. Definitely worth playing, a little pricey, so wait for a GolfNow deal!!
Too much goose poop!
This is a well-designed course, interesting layout, nice clubhouse and amenities. Unfortunately it was completely covered with goose poop! The greens were generally clean but aside from that it was just everywhere. It tainted the whole experience (literally and figuratively). I’ve never seen anything like it. If they could eliminate or at least reduce this problem this would be a great course, but unless and until they do I’ll be playing elsewhere.
Great course. Slow play.
Granted they had a frost delay, but seriously, it took over 6 hours to play 18 holes. Other than that it was pretty awesome.
Always slow
This course is always slow. Great course that is pretty, well maintained, with gorgeous views. However, it is always slow.
Slow back 9
first tee time of the day. Playing at a good pace. Till the back 9. Course had a tourney going on. Basically had to choose eith play 11 holes or wait behind the entire tourney to finish my round. Was not offered any options other than pay for a full 18.
Great day, slow play
Didn’t realize there was a tournament ahead of us when we booked but found out when we checked in. 11 holes took us almost 4.5hrs and once the tournament cleared out we finished the last holes in like 45min (which was awesome). Not much they could have done and we could have bailed if we had to but the weather was gorgeous and it felt great to not be indoors! Love the layout, lots of eye-tricks to keep you on your toes and the course Marchand were all really nice and helpful too. I’d go back to play there again but would still try to be on as early a tee time as possible to avoid pacing issues.
New Clubhouse, same great course
Had heard recent storms had taken down a number of trees, but property had recovered nicely, and there are now more sight lines and better views of some holes.
Course was in great condition as always.
Highly recommend the course as a good challenge and the new clubhouse and chef are top notch.

When checked in golf shop person upset I got Green fees and cart rider for $25.00. Negative rather than say great deal glad to have you first time.
Then guy asked if I would share cart or have hand cart. I am 70 years old and said no. Other three turned out to be single golfers lot younger than me.
I can see share cart being married or immediate family. But you not set up for testing and you not adhering to social distancing.
So what is your policy in riding carts with VIRUS still so prevalent? If I book online you going to insist I share cart being 70 years old? I notice many rode carts by themselves.
