It's an OK course. Good if you want to practice some narrow shots. Putting greens are beat up.

I used to play the course when it was a private club. Fast forward 10 years to yesterday and I was shocked to see the course so run down. There wasn't a sand trap on the course that you could actually play out of due to severely poor neglect and maintenance. It's a great short and right layout but someone will have to spend some much needed time and money to bring it back to life. The fairways and greens were in decent shape for such long term neglect.

Good course layout, in major need of basic course maintenance!

I never write reviews, but had to for this course. I have played it a couple times before this, but this time was just terrible.
The layout of the course is good. Challenging and makes you play certain shots. But the way its kept is just pitiful. I heard from a friend that this is the final year the course will be around, which explains the lack of maintenance. The sand is no longer sand but a combination of hard dirt and weeds. The rough hasn't been cut in god knows how long. It's a shame, use to be really well kept. Would only play this course for less then $15. Calling it a country club course any longer is a blatant lie.

This could be a really nice course if it was kept in shape. Bunkers were horrible with grass patches in most of them. Weird layout, hard to find some holes. probably won't be playing again here

This old, semi-private club is a great value for an intermediate golfer. If you're pulling or pushing balls left and right, you may not have a good time on this tight layout. Landing areas are apparent and generous. Errors are punished, but don't mean execution. A few natural opportunities to shape shots are here as well. Needs some bunker work.

The rough hasn't been cut or maintained at all. Weeds abundant in the rough just off the fairway. Other than that the staff is very friendly, food & beverages were good and pace of play was about right (4.5 hrs on a nice Saturday)

Bunkers in total disrepair. Not maintained at all. Weeds growing in them, not raked. No food at all in clubhouse other than 3-day old popcorn scraps. Nice fast electric golf carts.

UNREAL!!! I heard good things about this course and it couldn't be farther from the truth... Horrible conditions as fairway is torn out and bumps all over the green. On top of it the staff was very rude. If there was a zombie apocalypse movie this course would fit right in as it is decaying before your eyes.

I thought this would place would be a good value, very mistaken. Course conditions were bad although the grounds appears to have potential. The whole course was dried out, dead trees everywhere, very stiff greens, a significant amount of dried out grass and grass clippings. The sand traps were filled with what I can only assume was dirt. Pace of play was about 5 1/2 hours.

Where to start. Lost too many balls that were 1-3 feet off the fairway in the rough. The whole time we were playing mind you it was a Thursday morning it seemed we were always in the landscapers way... One even ran over a ball in play during our round. Only saving grace on this course were the greens. I would not recommend playing here unless your paying less than 15 bucks. I have played some bad courses in my day but for this place to be named a country club you have to be joking. And to management-- pay for some more help and the revenue will follow.... Not the other way around. Even your staff complained that you were short handed all around. Wont be coming back. Avoid at all costs.... Honestly.. and view my image.. They actually used grass clippings instead of mulch.. What a joke. I would act like an ostrich and keep my head in the sand if I owned this joke of a course.

Good times playing this course . The day we went lost many balls because grass was left behind after they cut it. Made it card to find the ball. It was challenging due to the tight fairways . Overall fun course !!!!

Most of the sand traps need some work.

Mission Hills is a mess. The rough was not cut and littered with weeds that make fairway misses too penal and lead to a bunch of lost balls. Fairways were not cut making the distinction between fairway and rough near impossible. Bunkers were hardpan and littered with debris as was the course.

Locker room looks liked it was abandoned in 2008 with empty mop buckets, a sewage smell, and holes in the walls.

Positives. Super friendly staff.

Overall course is in horrible shape.
1) greens appeared to be mowed with improper equipt
2) all greens needed debris blown off
3) while fairway was cut, there was no 2nd cut of fairway - the rough grass was 3-4" height. Any balls off fairway were lost due to grass height.
4) many of ball washers were dry
I have played about 10 rounds over the last few years, but, I won't be returning. Too bad - used to be a nice course :(

Great challenging track being allowed to fall into ruins. Everything needs work but basic maintenance to start would go a long way. Will give it another try in the fall, maybe.

Needs some work on rough and fairways. Most traps need sand. T boxes were really bad. It used to be a well maintained course. What happend?

I played this course a few times last year and it wasn't in the best shape. Yesterday, after rain, it was in good shape. I could tell they are working hard to fix it up and bring it back to the prestige shape it was in. The staff was very friendly and I had a nice conversation with them. Would definitely go back. Excited to see what it will look like later in the season!

Fairways, tees and greens in bad shape. New management told me that they will fix the problems.

I know a new management company recently too over but the course was so terrible I will never go back. The tee boxes we aweful the greens the same. Bunkers were littered with debris. We saw one maintenance guy cutting some of the greens. Looks like a course that time forgot. Yeah 17$ was a great deal with a cart but at what cost. Please take this review seriously and spend your money somewhere else. If you listen carefully you can hear this course crying out please take care of me!!!!!
