Highlands Golf Course

I heard this course had some issues but did not realize how bad it actually was until playing it. The course is maintained very poorly and grass is dead in alot of areas of play. I realize this is not a top rated course but this was pretty bad.

Love playing here and have been for the past 5 years but each year I come back the course seems to be getting worse. The greens and well kept but the tee box is so uneven and if your in the middle of the fairway you shouldn't be hitting out of rocks and dry dirt. Hope they fix this issue would hate to go else where.

One of the best deals out there for this busy summer vacation destination.

I was surprised when the front desk told us because we used a "cheap rate on Golf Now" we had to go out with another twosome. I had not even asked to go out as a twosome and was surprised by the remark.

Got a good deal on Saturday afternoon tee time through GolfNow.

Except for greens, course was largely burned out and brown.

Many blind shots where you have no idea where to hit your shot.

Will not play here again.

you should have tee times so singles can play your course.

Not a difficult golf course. Fun for beginners as well as first timers. Greens,were in great shape. Had a fun time golfing here

Course was in good shape, except the bunkers were terrible, not maintained at all.friendly staff and great setup with some challenging holes.

This course used to be in much better shape. The sand traps are an inch of sand on top of mud. The rough is six inch deep grass and weeds. Tee boxes are hit down to dirt. I don't know if it's due to smaller budgets, but it's a shame to see.

Regardless, it's a fun layout, and I'll be back in the hope that conditions will improve.

This course has been a nice course to play with a good location. However each time I have played the staff has been rude and dismissive.
I called the course to change a tee time and they were not helpful. Also did not let us know at time of booking it was a ladies league night. Also when checking in, did not let us know once again. Pace of play was very slow, and we were smack in the middle of the league. We would've booked someplace else if we would have known.

Even with the rain it couldn't dampen our spirits! Always a blast playing this course, one of my top two favorite courses. Staff is always amazing, be that the guys in the pro shop or the spot on service in the restaurant. Never a disappointing visit!!

I have golfed about four courses in Spokane this year and by far Highlands is in the best shape. No sitting the water and greens are in near perfect condition.

We have always wondered why The Highlands didn't get great reviews because we always have an awesome time there. The course is in great condition, the weather is holding up and you can't beat the price. My husband and I normally like to play alone but every now and then we team up with a single or couple and have met some wonderful people. We like to play at different courses around the area but consider The Highlands our 'home' course.

I have played the highlands before and it seems the course does not get better. Of course the greens were sandy and we expected that. It just doesn't seem to get better. I have never been a fan of the layout. It is tight, especially some holes more than others and just not well maintained.

Unfortunately, a 9-some of mtc workers teed off before us -- GolfNow Ali's, double booked my teetime-other than that nice tree lined course with challenging elevations & pin placements

Fun course if you don't mind playing next to houses.

We have played this course multiple times so knew what to expect good/bad. Our Tee time was 3 pm, on what was to be a hot day. That heat did not materialize so it was perfect and hardly anyone on the course. We sailed along until we got to#12 and hit a wall of players of 2-3 groups on the tee box, and had no idea where they all came from. Come to find out there was a tournament, but not sure when they started. After a half hour waiting to tee off on the next couple holes, we quit due to the ridiculous pace. We were not told of the tournament by anyone. It was a good rate until we found out we were actually paying for 12 holes. The course was not up to the usual standards, and starting to look kind of worn.

The course is in great shape and has a nice bar snd grill.
