About
Arlington Lakes Golf Club is situated amid the northwest suburbs of Chicago. Locals treasure the course as one of the area's hidden gems. At 5,331 yards from the back tees, this par-68 layout is on the shorter side but don't underestimate its level of difficulty. Besides the mature trees that frame many of the holes and 14 lakes that come into play, there are more than 100 strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. The layout also features small, sloped greens that demand accuracy but you can take comfort in the fact that there are no doglegs. With strategic shot-placement and a bit of luck, there are some birdie opportunities available. The shorter length of the golf course will appeal to beginners but it's versatile for more advanced players to enjoy as well.

Great course!
Staff was friendly and helpful from beginning to end. Excellent price with cart and course was in great condition. Relatively short and a little tight in certain areas.
Our foursome really enjoyed a beautiful day and we’ll be back!

Pace of play poor
Lack of ranger enforcement, people jackin around on the course holding up play.

Not a short course
Found a Hot Deal for a bargain price on a course I've never heard of, but glad we tried it out. It's only a par 68 with 6 par 3's and 2 par 5's, but it's by no means a short course with a couple of 400+ yard par 4's and some longer par 3's. The green were very fast and sloped and there is a lot of water and sand. I felt good that I managed to lose only 1 ball. The rough was drying out but the course was in good shape. Our foursome played 18 holes in 3 hours 50 mins which is terrific for a Friday afternoon in the Chicago area. The range is located off-site about a 1/2 mile from the course, and they have a nice patio area for having a cold one afterwards. We'll be back.

Short and Nice
Have played this course several times this year. Staff is extremely friendly and really makes you feel welcomed. Bill was a very good starter making sure we got off on time and everyone was familiar with the course. Don came over and said hello to us making us feel valued at this course. Greens were good and course was in very good shape.

For $60 this par 68 course really isn’t worth the money, can pay 10-20 more dollars for really great courses near by. For serious players chasing scores or looking for a challenge, this course is almost too short at about 5500 yards. Course is in alright condition, fine for the average weekend warrior, no complaints there.
My complaints stem from pace of play and interaction with staff. Starter had my group start on 10. Made the turn after 18 and mens league had just begun. The starter suggested we play the back 9 again despite just coming off of it. I refused and they sent us to hole two to get ahead of mens league. Starter was rude and didn’t apologize for inconvenience. Pace of play was terrible for such a short course. Was so fed up by the end of the round didn’t even bother to finished on the first hole that we were forced fo skip. Bottom line, take your money else where. For a casual golfer this place may be all you need, fairly easy and short from the tips. For more serious players, go to Schaumburg or mount prospect .

Average Course Overbooked
Constant back-ups on the course all day. Course well kept but with minimal hazards and easy to not lose a lot of balls. Decent course. Decent value.

Nice Layout w/ some challenging greens!
Played this course twice. Value for 18 and a cart was very good around Chicago. Some challenging greens that can play fast! Lots of water too. Def a fun course to work on your strategy.

Great staff! Always welcome you with a smile. Starter Wayne was excellent as usual. He made sure the pairings were correct and equal. He really gets things going and has a terrific attitude. Don followed him and was very friendly. Course is in very good shape. Greens are a little slow but looks like it was just on this day because they are usually just right. Nice short course for us old guys. Well managed facility.
