Reviews
Well Maintained, Adequate Challenge, Friendly Personnel
I play here 4-6 times a month. I really enjoy my rounds with friends and find the challenge adequate. I'm 70+ years old and the senior tees are well suited for golfers my age. The Pro Shop staff is very friendly and Ben is courteous and helpful at all times. I find the greens consistent and very well kept! They also hold when you hit a good shot that should hold. I think you'll enjoy your round and return for more!
Speed
An employee allowed a group to go back out without a tee time reserved for their 2nd round which backed all of us up! We only could golf 9 due to the slow play and they wouldn’t give us credit for the back 9
New course for me
For the beginning of March weather was pretty decent. Ended up 75 and very windy….very very windy. Course is nice but will be really nice when they get the bunkers reworked. Tee bixes very hard. I look forward to playing it much more when the season officially starts. Nice staff
Edgewood - Rural Gem
Edgewood is in great shape considering all the rain snd snow in January. It was the first time I’ve played this course, but definitely won’t be my last.
Great Day - Good conditions
Had a warm day in December in Illinois, so we decided to play. The course is in good condition for the time of year. There were quite a few players on the course, but the pace of play was very good.
A decent course for a good price!
Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pace of play is excellent. Greens were cut short and were quite fast (some putts/chips rolled back down on severely sloping greens. Too many people don't fix their ball marks (not the course's fault). Sand traps are under repair. There are good rates available for under $25 (18 holes w/ cart).
Nice Layout, Fast greens & Slow Pace of Play
Course is in good shape and greens were the fastest I’ve played all year in the Central Illinois area. Pace of play was dreadfully slow on the back 9. There was a group of 8 “bro’s” playing and they backed up the whole course. Took 1.5 hours on the front 9 and almost 3 hours to play the back 9.
