Great early season special
First time playing this course - was limited to playing the front 9 - early in sesson before course
conditions would improve - there are some nice -
challenging holes on the front 9 - will need to return when couse is in mid season form
Don’t expect much
A very average course but usually isn’t too busy, good price and layout is pretty good. Don’t expect a fantastic course and you will enjoy your round.
While the round was only $38 on a Sunday morning, Villa Olivia should be ashamed to charge even $1 to play their course. The tee boxes and fairways were as long as the second cut of rough should be at a normal course. The pace of play was extremely slow, with no rangers to be seen. There was no refreshment cart, nor was the halfway house open (on a Sunday at noon). Would never play here again and would advise anyone thinking of playing here to take their money elsewhere.
Played here last Friday, and I agree with this review 100%. I have never seen tee boxes like this. Tall grass full of weeds, but bare patches as well. They looked like they had not been maintained in at least a month. Tons of bare spots on the greens. On some holes, you can't tell where the fairway ends, and the rough begins. They should be embarrassed to charge $45 per person. $45 for my buddy and I still would have been a ripoff. Many great options in the area. Never need to play here again.
A waste of $ and time, stay away
Terrible condition all over, cut grass clippings even covered the fringes, ALL tee boxes uneven and weedy. DOES NOT include a meal, they said they didn’t know it was on there and didn’t honor it. $45 was a joke!!
Value for the money
Starter suggested to start on back half as they had few 4somes start on front, really helped as I didn't have any wait. Back 9 is also the better half of this course, if you ignore the ski lift wires. Little wet from overnight rain, but course held up well. Greens are still patchy so the condition is a 3.
Will Play here again
I like GolfNow as it encourages us to play different courses. Villa Olivia was great, pace of play was excellent. All groups were moving right along and players staff were all very friendly Great Value and a fun course
1st time out
Got to play golf after a rough winter and overly cold spring. First time out this year and found the course in really good shape considering the cold spring we have been having. Staff is great as always and maintenance of the course is excellent. Should make for a great summer experience.
Finally! Warm weather...
Great condition for early season. Staff meetinis very cool and easy going. Great course to get practice in. Greens a bit shagy and will need to be rolled at some point. Other than that, I'm a fan.
Finally! Warm weather...
Nice course. Great value for 9 holes. I don't know how you can beat it. The course is not perfect but what course is. However, I play this course almost every day and find that it provides me with enough challenge to sharpen my game. Unfortunately, I have more sharpening to do... :-)
