About
Buffalo Grove Golf Club is an 18-hole municipal course that offers an enjoyable round for players of all skill levels. The gently rolling terrain is covered with mature trees and wetlands, all of which provide challenges on the course. In addition to the natural hazards, there are a few strategically placed bunkers lurking throughout. Accuracy will be helpful when maneuvering the tree-lined fairways but it's not a terribly punishing golf course. There are a few tricky spots, but overall it's a forgiving and player-friendly layout. It's ideal for beginners and also good for a quick and casual round for any skill level. The golf course's affordability is another appealing aspect of the course. Buffalo Grove G.C. also offers a practice facility with a 25-station driving range and pitching and chipping greens.

Old fashioned course built for long hitters
Played only first 9 holes as weather did not cooperate.
First few holes are difficult, as is number 5.
Course eases a bit after no 5. Must be good with with fairway clubs and putter.
Good course for using various clubs.

Hi - I enjoyed your course and plan to be back. 2 things that kept it from 5 stars - 1) no food or water available on the course, only in clubhouse. 2) layout is outdated, fairway bunkers are easily carried off the tee and don’t come into play. Too many non strategic trees.

Go and play this course!
Well maintained. Greens very receptive and well kept. Bunkers were really well taken care of (plenty of sand, fluffy, lips and edges well done), and the patrons actually rake and leave rakes in the correct place! Rarely seen in a community course! 2nd time playing this course and will definitely come back fo another go!

Over the years I have play many park district courses. Buffalo Grove has consistently been great in course conditions as well as staff friendliness..

Awesome challenging and well maintained
Great Course, drains well after a downpour the night before. Excellent grounds keeper and good value for the money. Some unique holes with different challenges. Back 9 plays like a brand new course compared to front 9. Well done, and amenities are good. Although I wish the Beer cart ran more often we only saw it once through the entire round.

Nice course
Nice course.. We walked 18 and really enjoyed it. Layout is pretty straightforward with wide fairways on most holes. Greens were in great shape. I would give the staff an extra star,, maybe two. Very friendly!!
