Reviews
Prairies review
The first 9 holes are laid out well, the last nine follow the power lines and are pretty bare and flat. The greens were in decent shape but the fairways not so much. I was surprised with how wet the course was that it wasn’t Cart path only.
They also need a course monitor as the 4some in front of us was holding up everyone. For no reason.
Great Course
Affordable fees and only 10 minutes from St. Louis I have no complaints
Mk36
Course was pretty good. Finding the next hole was a little difficult at times. The tees were uneven in areas
Blind shots
Too many ponds not marked with red stakes. They gave up on maintaining sand bunkers. If you can't maintain them fill them in and regarded that area. Way too many blind shots off the tee to be enjoyable with no tips or notes on scorecard. If they invested some money it could be a decent public course...
Work in Progress with Potential
Friendliest staff I've seen on a golf course. They are working hard to bring this course to a premier level. I wouldn't recommend the course to a friend yet, but I will check them out in the future to see how far they get in their improvements.
Good course is challenging. Very firm greens hard to get ball to sit. Dry fairways but good course for price.
REVIEW
THE GREENS WERE EXCELLENT. THE FAIRWAYS NEEDED SOME WORK. OVERALL IT WAS GOOD FOR THE PRICE. THE FOLKS THAT WORKED AT THE GOLF COURSE WERE VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL.
Not the greatest Conditions
The greens were very hard and difficult to hold the ball when hitting approach shots. The fairways didn't have very much grass to hit off of. The course needs some rain and a little TLC. I suspect in another month the conditions will improve. I would recommend this course in June.
Fun course
It’s early May and the fairway grass is still coming in but the greens are in great shape. The tee boxes are a little rough, but very playable. The course is making a lot of improvements and is looking great.
The staff is super friendly. I’m looking forward to playing here again this season.
