Booked Wrong Course
Thought I was booking at CPD’s Marovitz course but when I arrived to play they did not have my reservation. Turned out I had accidentally booked at Robert A. Black course. My mistake but website was not clear and I had to pay at both courses and only played one.
went on and got a Hot Deal. Everyone was friendly. Linked up with some good guys. Fairways were in tact. Course looked great and played great. Had a real good time. Will be back.
Fun, short course close to the city
Fun little short course that was easy to get to from the city. For being a city run course and it being cheap, it was in great shape and had some character. The greens had a lot of slope/were visually appealing, but were somewhat spongy and slow. A bunch of nearly drive-able par 4's and some solid par 3's. Of note, they do not sell beer at the course.
Solid City Course
RAB is a short mix of 4s and 3s that gives you a good chance to work on your middle distance shots.
Nice little 9 hole course
Overall a nice 9 hole course that was in good shape. The only reason I rated this a 3 and not a 4 has to do with the busy area it is in. It sits within a larger park so there are walking trails that surround the course. I typically prefer a more secluded course. But that being said I would definitely play it again. It's a nice little course in the city for sure.
First round of the year here
This is my go to place. between home and work.
Great facility with green and chipping practice area. Staff is always friendly.
Despite being in the city, this is one of the best place to go to. Greens are always in great shape. Fairways can be pretty wet at times but the course offers a decent variety of challenges.
The only piece missing would be very long holes but still, 1, 4,5 and 9 requires solid driving skills.
Great 9 hole course. Great place to learn. Friendly staff. Inside bathrooms need to be redone.
Fun short muni track
I played this early on a weekday morning and thoroughly enjoyed it. Pace was exceptional (although that might have been due to the early morning tee time). The course was in good shape (the tee boxes and greens could both use some love, but well within acceptable standards, and the fairways, rough and bunkers were all in good shape). And the layout was quite fun. It is a short course, but I had several opportunities to use my driver, and the shorter holes were varied enough to be enjoyable. There are no amenities to speak of, other than a pro shop with the bare basics, but for a quick round in the city this might be my new favorite overall.
Fine course for cheap
Don't waste your money on a cart, short 9 hole that is easy to carry or push. Got way backed up behind a junior high league on a Tuesday summer night. Waited 3-10 min at each hole.
