About
Klein Creek Golf Club sprawls across acres of rolling prairieland in the western suburbs of Chicago. Trees frame the layout's gentle doglegs and tall prairie grasses border the fairways. It is a golf course that offers both beautiful scenery and a challenging round. Several lakes also dot the landscape, coming into play on almost every hole. The abundant water hazards are often coupled with spacious, intricately designed bunkers that are also usually paired with wood retaining walls. Contoured mounding frames the fairways and greens as well. Klein Creek Golf Club's layout is not easy by any means but it's fair, offering room for error on even the tougher holes with wide fairways and generous landing areas. There are a variety of approach options for the greens as well, providing great risk-reward opportunities.

A hidden gem
Love playing this course . Challenging for all levels. Water comes into play on many holes . In good condition for early spring golf . Cart path only when we played but my kept going opposite of cart path . Got many steps in his round . Played with another golfer who was very pleasant
Great challenging course
Great layout and challenging course with tight fairways. Hole 9 lives up its reputation!
Maintenance
Overall, good course.
The greens were rolling well, but there were a few dead spots. Dead spots on tee boxes too.
No business allowing our tee time.
I booked a 5:30 PM twilight tee time. I understand in doing so the possibility of finishing a round is very low. However, upon arriving, we were told to tee off on the back nine because the women’s league was backing up the front nine. As soon as we finished the 10th hole (our first hole) we were greeted with three groups on the 11th. One on the Teebox, one on the fairway, and one on the green. We weren’t able to play more than four holes before we had to leave due to congestion and pace of play. They knew who was on the course and they should’ve simply told us they can’t honor the teatime for giving us our money back.
Good overall course
Great course. Good, fun rangers. Nice layout with good amounts of difficulty. Fast greens that really make you work!
Nice improvements
Actual white sand in the traps and good choice of waste areas where traps once were. Course requires some nice shot strategy and greens were true. Will be back.
Progress
The course is under construction and the progress looks promising. Will definitely return.
This is a challenging course with a lot of water.
Greens were the best I’ve seen in October! Well maintained-beautiful sandtraps(i was in 3)
Great Track
Great course, friendly staff, tough with the wind. First time and will be back to try to improve on my score.
Love how it winds thru the houses and neighborhood.
