Good for the money
Course was good for money. Fairways and greens were extremely hard. Greens had some rough spots but were okay. Would deff play again.
Great bang for buck
I say 5 stars because there is no 4.5 option. This isn’t quite up to par with some of the Pete Dye courses in the area but it’s challenging, well kept and incredibly affordable. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.
Great golf, great value!
Course is always in great condition! New restaurant is enjoyable as well! Hidden Gem
Hidden Gem
Never played this course before, but decided to give it a try based on reviews. Well worth the trip from Indy (a little over an hour away). Fair course, with challenging holes. Some great scenery and a neat assortment of different holes, almost feels like 2 different courses. Fairways and greens were in immaculate condition.
Great course!!
My son and I played this course on 9/11.
A tournament had just finished and almost no one was on course when we played, which was great. Fairways and greens were in very good conditions, most holes are a fairly lengthy, making it challenging.
I'm sure we will be back
Fun, challenging course
This course is a lot if fun. It has a unique back nine! Many hills and huge bunkers!
Course was in great shape. Greens were rolling very nice. Like the different difficulty of holes. Snack shop/bar needs better food. Golf experience was great though. Will play again.
Harrison hills
Very challenging, extremely windy the day I played, par 5s are very long and seemed to be into the wind, fairways are narrow and balls are easily lost. My only complaint is that there were a lot of weeds out there compared to other courses, an over abundance of dandelions, definitely not used to seeing those on a golf course.
Boom
Great course for the value. Could use more yardage markers but sprinklers always work. A ball spotter would definitely help! Ha! Great course overall!
stay below hole and course plays much better.
greens were well manicured and fast. fairways in good shape and had some roll. had not played course in 10 years but had so much fun I returned 6 days later.
Good layout, but not a “Top 10 Course in Indiana”
Drove a pretty long way to play a “top 10 course in Indiana”. It is decent, but I would not call it that. It’s not close to being in the same arena as a Trophy Club, Bear Slide, or Rock Hollow. The layout was nice, specifically the back nine, but there were a few gimmicky holes throughout. The condition was not so much as advertised. Plenty of areas where propping your lie was necessary due to spotty turf and rough, and some of the bunkers were not playable. The ones that are playable have very thick pea gravel “sand” the same stuff of the “dunes” at the badlands over in Attica. The grounds keeping was just not up to par. Overall, it was worth the $25 hot deal round for a Sunday, and I would have been more disappointed if we drove that far and paid more than $25.
Anniversary member at Harrison
Since Harrison implemented their anniversary membership program under new management in 2020, the course was extremely crowded. Conditions of the course have declined slightly because of the tremendous increase in traffic. Still a nice course, but not as pristine as it once was, which is understandable due to increase in golf play.
