Dull, bland and dead straight course

Unless you just want to just get in a practice round, no need to play this course. It is not in good shape, boring and has the most straight holes I’ve ever seen. Seriously, other than No. 9, every hole is dead straight!

Buddy and I called for a tee time but they said they didn’t take reservations. Oh well. So we just walked on. Course was empty and I see why. It’s just not any good. The grass is terrible, weeds everywhere and the greens are chewed up.

After the front nine, you cross over a road. The back nine looks like they plowed up a cornfield and jammed in nine holes to make an 18-hole course. Plus, it is super short with only two sets of tees.

You forgot to add, it's only $20.00 for 18, and $5 for each additional 9. The greens are money for a 20 dollar course, and this year the fairway Bermuda finally started growing back. I play there 6 times a week, great practice course. Practice there, then head up to AnnBriar to test your skills...

This course is horrible!

The staff at this golf course is not friendly at all. They were very rude to us. The course is in horrible shape. The fairways are very bumpy and the greens are dented. This place is just a terrible place!

Need tee times

a fun little course, but when we started there were six carts in front of us on Number 1,, and even more on number two. single players, twosomes. walkers, no management for getting people off. Ranger was super and tried to help us be his hands are tied.

You get what you pay for.

Honestly not terrible but not great.
If you are a good golfer you could really score here.
No tee times. That either makes it empty or packed.
If you are new to golf, here is a great place. Plus a $5 all you can hit driving range right next to it, awesome.

Good Value

Good course to get some work in during the week. In good shape considering the price of $20 for 18 holes with cart. Only 5700 yards so some real scoring opportunities if you are playing well. They are doing some work upgrading the course and the staff was really friendly especially the pro. This course is by no means a top level course but the value is really good for what you pay. Good course for less skilled players. We played a twosome and finished in 3 hours. Keep up the good work River Lakes!!

Golf for fun and learners

This course if for beginners and intermediates. Flat and easy, no tee time required. The close time is unpredictable, and if not busy, will close early, but is open year round. You can play an extra round for just $5.00
