Great course
A case of supply and demand. This course is in such great shape, and along with an excellent layout, gets a lot of play. As a result, the prices are sometimes fairly high, but if one pays attention to golfnow, one can on occasion get a decent deal. I got a great one monday and enjoyed the course thoroughly, as I always do. The course has a real diversity of holes, making it most interesting.
Great course
Loved this course. A dealt fun course to play. Lots of elevation changes, and dog legs make it interesting. Course is generally in great shape. Greens are quick, and you rarely have a level putt. In some cases, the hole placement was unfair, side hill cup placement really tough for avg players. Would definitely play again though.
Randall Oaks
Randall Oaks is great little course tucked away in the far NW Suburbs. Definitely worth the drive as they have everything you could want. From 18 challenging & picturesque holes to a great practice area and range. There's even a kids course attached for the wee little ones to get started on the game. The clubhouse, bar and restaurant are very nice and sitting on the deck overlooking #18 is a fine way to finish the day. There are several really fun holes with blind shots. The short par 4's are my favorite ones and require a smart strategy and target accuracy.
Nice track
Played for second time and really like the course. Played white tees both times but will step up to blues shortly. Course in great condition and challenging, tough but fair greens. Reasonable albeit not inexpensive price but competitive. Played Sunday both times and it would help if they kept up pace as my group is not fast by any means but we have done a fair amount of waiting both times. Really like clubhouse bar, very friendly and fast service. Overall a good experience!
Nice!!
Really enjoyed playing the course. I wouldn't call it easy but the layout fits my game great. A lot of doglegs right. Course was in really good shape.
Spring Golf - First 9 of the season
Jumped on the chance to play the first 9 of the season. The course was in good shape and we had no issue with the pace of play. The cost was so-so - no hot deals were available but we wanted to play since it was sunny and warm. The greens were still a bit hard but the rest of the course was in good condition. We played the front 9 which has a lot of elevation changes so we had fun.
Randal Oaks golf
Great course, friendly staff, course is in great condition, very good food .
Randall Oaks
I was pleasantly surprised that this course existed close to my home and I had never played.it. Nice layout and challenging but not so tough that the average golfer would struggle on every hole. Definitely a diamond in the rough that I will look forward to playing again.
Fall golf at Randall Oaks
Nice layout with great greens and leaves a non-issue. Pace of play was our own. A nice fall day on a fun well maintained course.
RO Review
1st time playing this year , no rate breaks like they had 2 years ago when I played there at least 2 times a week.
That being said it is a favorite course for enjoyable and challenging golf.
Slow Play...No Ranger
OMG; No Ranger on Course and we had 5 hour round playing behind a bad foursome. Play ahead of them would have been about 4 hours, 2 open holes at all times. Ranger was at Snack Bar
WOW
This club would rival any private club in the area. Better than the Glen or MacRay. Probably to short for professional tournaments.
Very nice course
Great time, great value. Will return.
Another great round
Course was in great shape for a hot August. Hard rain the previous night did not cause any problems. Challenging but not crazy. Greens were surprisingly a little slow.
Great overall experience
Really enjoyed playing this course.
Starts with friendly attentive staff.
Course has good layout and is in nice shape from tee to green.
Challenging and yet fair.
Great value for your money.
Will definitely play here again.
