Easy straight ahead course with no frills. Good for working out swing issues with a nice short to moderate walk. Golf Now Hot Deal $6 is an excellent WALKING rate.

Course was playing slow due to a couple horrible groups. Marshal made them let groups play through. Took care of the issue promptly and made sure we were ok. Great course staff.

Great course to learn on or take newbie golfers. Which is what I did. Course is in good shape, relaxed atmosphere.

It was a nice 9 hole course with small greens and loved the big trees.

This course often has $6 hot deals through our beloved golfnow, and for a rate that cheap, it's great for 9-holes and then paying the courses $10.50 for a replay. It's an older municipal course in Elgin, and well, you're getting what you pay for. Nothing special about it, and I wouldn't even have rated it as high as I did, if my expectations weren't set by the price and it's location. If you're looking to get out and walk, this is a good course for you. If you ride, you'll be bumping up on people in front of you all day, so save the cash, and just get the exercise.

Love this 9 hole course. Good distance on the par 3's but my favorite is the monster 570+ yard par 5.

Not a particularly challenging setup at Wing Park, but the smaller than average greens can punish you if your short game is off. This is a park district regulation 9 hole course, but it doesn't try to be something it isn't. The layout is pretty straight with the exception of 2-3 holes, but the most I've ever paid to play here has been $10, so you get more than your money's worth. It has a 571 yard par 5 hole, and plenty else to keep people coming back if they don't have time for a full 18.

As long as you get a deal and don't pay full price, I would give this one a try. I really enjoy playing new courses though.

Reasonably priced and was in fair condition.Need to keep the greens clean of tree litter.

i like to play this course when time is limited. pace of play is good and considering all the bad weather we've had, they worked hard to get the course back in good shape

Extremely easy course and only cost $10.00 for nine holes. Very open and water only on two holes. Not very crowded and usually can get nine holes in hour fifteen minutes.

Oldest Park district course in Illinois. Par 5 7th hole is a monster. You will use various clubs off the tee, not just pound the driver all day. Greens are average speed and are small. For those who are a little wild off the tee there is plenty of room to land your ball.

Played this course on the way up to WI for the weekend 7am tee time. We were the only ones on the course (Thursday morning) and we were able to play in 2 hours. Short course long hitters may have some issues. Course is wide open and has very little hazards to deal with. Great practice course or if you want to work on anything other than your drive.

Last year (2012) the price of this course was perfect. $10 dollars on golf now for nine holes that were more than easy. Course is maintained a little. Prices raised this year and not worth it in my opinion.

Perfect for walking. Friendly staff! Course is not overly difficult but poses challenges.

It is your average 9 hole course, grounds are well kept, greens in good condition. Looking for a reasonable priced 9 holes, this is the course.
