9th hole cart path fairway Photo submitted by HOTSPOTTS on 05/09/2018
Well maintained course
The course was well maintained, and offered a variety of holes and related challenges. The price was also reasonable. The staff was professional, friendly, responsive, and efficient.
Ridiculous, layout
I gave this course a port review for a few reasons. The biggest reason is the layout is extremely funky. The holes are way too close to each other and some of the greens are very close to buildings. It’s not in the best shape and the cart rental procedure seems excessive. Basically I’m not a fan and don’t plan to return.
5+ hour round. 7am tee time
Not first time playing. Slowest golf I’ve ever played. Liked the course the first time but won’t be going back after this past experience.
Overall Good Time
Starter wasn’t really controlling anything. Just told people to get in line. Had people jumping ahead without even knowing it.
Rolling hills and elevation changes are fun. Can’t complain about the green and tee box conditions for the most part. Pretty nice.
Maybe one legit bunker the whole course and no real water hazards to deal with. Definitely won’t lose too many balls.
Nice place to play
The course is short but in very good shape dispute the lack of rain in the past several weeks. The pace was a little slow as were the greens. However, the course is significantly better than two years ago. If you have not played HH for a couple of years you need to give it a try.
Solid Course
Played a solo Twilight round.
Jumped around a little but played all 18.
Small pace of play issues but that’s typical when you’re a solo following full foursomes. Saw plenty of green divots that I would fix but nothing crazy.
Would and will play again
1st time
Overall, really enjoyed the course and pace of play.
Only issue was the lack of golf carts available when we arrived to check in. We teed off a little late because of this. The attendant for the carts came across as very terse. He was trying to help, but after showing us our cart, asked multiple times to see our receipt and what our names were and even questioned the other twosome riding with us. He seemed disorganized and overwhelmed, so maybe just a little more friendly and understanding interaction with customers would be good.
Most improved in the last 3 years
I have always loved the layout of this course conditions have not always been its strong point but they've come a long way. Great place for the price.
Need a beverage
Understaffed and couldn’t find a beverage. The drink area on course was closed because of manpower.
I played 8/1/23 the pace of play was aweful, 3 groups not going straight, zig zagging, taking re-hits, searching for other balls, no ranger encouraging faster pace on the course at all. If you can't hit it straight, and can't get out of the woods, think twice, I would not recommend playing on the weekend unless you plan on eating dinner there.
