Note the slope ratings on the greens, not for the novice
We were grouped in a foursome, as a couple, and two singles, not unexpected on a weekend, still a number of other courses in the area will let a twosome out, as long as you respect pace of play.
Because of this, it's a bit rushed for the recreational golfer, who plays in the 90s, or is challenged by a difficult green.
Several holes parallel the roadway, on the front 9 your slice may land you in the road, your hook will on the back 9. Some close fairways, and we heard more "fores" in one round, than in weeks.
Fairways are wide enough, though. A creek/ditch runs through the course, and water comes into play on several holes, including an island green. All playable, but if water intimidates you, perhaps, not your course.
A few bunkers under construction in Sept.
So, not a course for the beginner, but probably quite pleasant enough for the novice during weekday afternoons, when the pace of play might not be pushed.
Good round of golf
Had a good time on the course. It is challenging but a lot of fun to play. Will come again!
Good pace
Played 18 walking in 3 hours so pace of play was very good, I enjoyed the course.
The rate was terrible vs the public rate available
I could have saved $26 if I would have booked it on my own for two golfers
Poor Value
I booked our rounds on Golf Now on one of their Deals. When we arrived at the course we were told that a Golf Cart was not included in the price that we paid and that it would cost us an additional $36.00 for a Golf Cart ... Can you say Rip Off.
Nice
The course was nice. Nobody in front of us or behind us. Relaxed
Warm fall day with no starter!!!!
The course was decent for a track that is over played. The only problem was at the turn there was many slow people who jumped on 10. No starter to control the situation. The bad thing about it was that the people who jumped the other players were slow and rude. They would not let anyone play through and the were walking. Don't get me wrong many walkers may play faster then many in carts, they were just slow. The front 9 took about 1 and 45 minutes. From holes 10 to 16 took 2 and half hours when we just said for get it and left the course with out finishing. Smh!!!!
Great value
Fun course, In very good shape considering it’s fall. Will definitely play again.
Inwood
Good shape course. Does require long drives off the tee
Good experience!
A very good day with a friend! Tee time was accurate and the pace of play was amazing.
Inwood
Inwood is ok. The front nine was built long after the back so it’s lopsided. The front has more imaginative holes with big greens that roll pretty true. The back has much smaller greens with a straightforward layout. We played here because it was the cheapest on a Sunday morning. The rates for golf are outrageous. Felt like we had the golf course to ourselves.
