Good course good value
Course was in good shape. Tee off on time and good pace. Consession stand open too.
Honest appraisal
Cart paths were really horrible with tree roots being the main detriment. A lot of bare ground spots even around the greens and long grass that was in rough and around the greens were really making it for a long day. Overall the greens themselves were in fairly good shape. Fairly difficult to honestly recommend the white course.
Nice old course but needs some TLC
This course could be a gem, however the tee boxes, bentgrass and bunkers are in rough shape. It is kind of a confusing course in terms of navigation, since much of the holes are not clearly marked. You can tell that this course has history to it and could be among to top in the area, but needs work. They still have very old carts, but they work alright. Another big problem Is all the wasps throughout the course. None of the garbage cans had been cleaned and I had wasps swarming my cart almost every hole which was somewhat frustrating.
If you can get a good hotdeals, $25 or under, it is not a bad place to get some practice and have a fun round on a short course.
Good place to golf.
Loved the old school vibe. We look forward to trying the red course next.
Played the Red course with my buddy. Fairways in great condition. Greens were playing true. Only problem was bunkers were rock hard dirt. We decided we were not going to hit out of them. Would have given a 5 star if not for the bunkers. Staff was awesome and their personalities were off the chain funny.
5 hour round
Teed off at 635am and didn't finish until 1115. Ranger said 4.5 hours is a good pace. Like h3ll it is. I won't be back. They used to push pace to allow for a good rhythm and 3.5 hours all day. It's been 5+ hours every time this year.
SLOW & TALL ROUGH/LONG FRINGE
Course backed up a few holes finished 18 in 5 hours- fringe was longer than fairway grass about 3 inches long some divots in tee boxes and long grass in tee boxes
