White at Gleneagles Country Club

Haven’t played this course for a couple of years
It was much better than. Tee offs were just not good
The sand traps were terrible.Playing with my friends
and when you land in the trap you want them to hit out of them.Instead we had to take ball out of trap which made the shot much easier… I no there is a pandemic but now I’d like them to address the course so you can play a good round of golf…I will try to play again in 4-6 weeks and see if there is any improvement…

The white course was in decent shape considering how early in the spring it was. There were many downed tree limbs and twigs that I feel could’ve been cleaned up. That would’ve allowed me to give the course 5 stars because the course held up very well. Very friendly layout with minimal elevation changes. This course be the straightest all around holes I have ever played. The 18th hole had a slight dogleg to the left, otherwise all other holes very straight and fairly short distances. Driver off the tee is not needed for anyone that can hit high irons and woods 200-250. The massive fleet of carts are in need of an upgrade but they do the job.

Classic layout of an old course that will keep you coming back. Challenging and fair. I didn't think much of going before because of playing other courses that are more challenging but this course has a humbling element you won't realize until you look at your scorecard and thought you could've played better. The Red course runs adjacent so I'm looking forward to playing there as well.

Golfed it before but couldn't even get beer or a hot dog that day. Club house was closed. They should be all the way open or all the way closed!

First time playing. Older course but in great condition and great staff for the price can’t complain

Greens were in good shape, very friendly staff. No complaints on a busy day.

Course was well maintained even with it being fall. Leaves were not an issue. Greens had undulations
and very challenging.

Love the course, we played the White. Great staff, safe environment. Just too many delays for us looking for balls in the leaves.

I’ve been golfing this course for 10+ years, both for fund raisers and competitive foursomes. This is one of my favorite “value” course and I always prefer white Over the red course for its extremely challenging greens.

There are no “gimmie” par 3s, especially if you play from the blues.

Even with the drought we’ve had this year, the course is still well maintained. My only complaint is the harder ground adjoining the fairways, but... if you keep it straight... you don’t have this problem.

Course was in great shape compared to a lot of other local courses after a tough summer drought. Price was fair too, and it was nice to be able to get a beer and sit outside after the round.
