The course was in great shape
I found the course to be in outstanding shape and the personnel to be very friendly. The course lay out is very good in that it has some very challenging holes and then some that let you think you are good.
Great course
The course was in great shape, sand traps needed work the sand was packed down and made it difficult to hit out of. Greens were in good shape
Great course
Greens were well kept. Challenging but not impossible. Lots of long holes and fairly wide fairwAys.
Nice course, bunkers need attention
Overall, it was a nice experience but the bunkers are in poor condition. Lots of pebbles and not much nice sand. Except for this, a nice course for the money.
Beautiful views, exceptional value
This course has always been my favorite in the area. So many of the holes are gorgeous and very unique, the island par 3 6th being no exception. Everywhere you turn is a beautiful view, and the course is well maintained... Awesome for the value!
This course is exceptionally maintained. What a great value and great golf experience.
I play Cherry Hill every year when I return from Arizona for a reunion. I have taken several friends to the course who live out of state. Every time I take someone new, the response is the same. They all can't wait to come back and play it again. I played it three times while I was back, and every round was a pleasure. Great course. Great staff. I highly recommend that you play this golf course.
Uh, buy more carts
Our tee time was 1:23... we ended up teeing off at 1:58, as the course ran out of power carts, and we waited over 30 minutes to get one.
Very nice layout; conditions could be improved. Greens were in bad shape on the front; great shape on the back.
Great Design
Cherry Hill offers a great design, having a real TPC Sawgrass sort of feeling to it. Taking a shot at the island green is a pretty cool experence you don't get on every course. The course was in great condition except for the 14th and 15th greens which were absolutely terrible. It's a shame because without those flaws this is a 5 star course.
Enjoyed the round on the course.
Course has generous landing areas off the tee. When looking at holes they seem tight, but forgiving. Like the GPS on carts, since it was first time playing.
Only issue was we played our round in 4 hours, and was told we were not playing fast enough by the staff.
Would play course again.
This course is in great shape.
The greens are in perfect shape. The rough was a little long but mowing has been tough with all the rain. Very challenging, but a great deal if you can squeeze 18 in after 5:30.@
A Gem in northeast Fort Wayne!
I have had the pleasure of playing this course nestled in a quiet section of northeastern Fort Wayne. Secluded from traffic and yet within a few hundred yards of shopping and restaurants, I have traveled the 45 miles from my home to take advantage of what this course has to offer.
I mentioned to a couple of my friends that the fairways are so nice that when I take a divot, I am compelled to mutter an apology to the turf. It is like walking on nice carpeting.
It consists of tight par 3's and challenging par 5's and is definitely worth traveling in order to play. I would tell those considering this course to lose the hesitation and just go. It will not be your last time playing there...you will be back!
Awesome course
Awesome course challenging yet playable for all skill levels
Great course
Cherry Hill is a beautiful golf course and in great condition.
Very pretty course, stylish backdrop with the homes.
Intelligently constructed, there is not much chance of one hitting these elegant homes, despite the number of them. Lots of character and deceptive greens are what you can expect. The island green? A terrific experience in itself, and certainly one worthy of saving your "mulligan" for. I would recommend this course.
Nice course, friendly staff, sand traps horrible
This is a really nice course that winds through an upscale neighborhood. Each hole has it's own personality and challenges. Stay out of the sand! Not that anyone needs to be told to avoid a hazzard, the bunkers are awful!!! The sand in every bunker is heavy and wet, you cannot apply typical sand shot dynamics at all. It does matter what time of year you play this course the sand is horrible which is odd because Cherry Hill's sister course Autumn Ridge has beautiful fluffy sand, go figure!
This is a beautiful course.
This is a beautiful course. Great fairways and great greens, lots of water and there was sand but the area had too much water to have a good sand trap at that time.
Course have great holes which includes an island green.
Great value..Course condition was great for this time of year, course was clear of leaves, greens were true, rough was okay tee boxes okay.
Carts were clean..washed after each use.
Always a good course to play.
Best in the Fort!!
Cherry Hill, in my opinion, is the best course in Fort Wayne. Hole #6, the island hole, is challenging and intimidating to look at. The normal rate is $39 for 18 and a cart, so anytime you can get it under $25 that is a heck of a deal. PLAY THIS COURSE, you will not be disappointed!!!
