If you must play this course, bring a helmet
This course overbooks, is never in good condition, and doesn’t enforce pace of play. You’ll spend a lot of your round waiting for people to play their ball from the wrong fairway. Not an enjoyable golf experience. Only nice thing about this course is they have nice carts
Course is poor
Course is great when approaching. The narrow fairways make it hard for non good golfers to stay in play, making pace of play long when waiting for people to finish their shots to a different hole. There are a lot of areas where you need to be careful as you’re teeing off. As you have balls from different directions able to hit you. The greens by far were terrible. Was fixing 2-4 divots and still then I would be there all day. I think this course should have been a nice 9 hole but they jammed an 18 in overall I would not return even if the value was for $18.
Afternoon Round
The course was overwhelmed with golfers and there was no rangers available. Our tee time was at 3:07pm but there were several groups ahead of us and one of them had 5 players. We waited about 20 minutes and there were still a few groups ahead of us so we choose to start our round at the 10 hole. We met a single player that allowed us to play with him. The course was in good condition but the pace was very slow.
Afternoon Round
We usually play early in the day but this time we play mid afternoon. The course was overcrowded and there was no Marshals. Our tee time was at 3:07pm but did not tee off until 3:35. The course was in good condition but the pace was very slow because there were too many players on the course. The group ahead of us had 5 players on their team.
Just close to Ok with what you pay
Good green but need work on fairway, need some simple repair to sign of holes, need simple sign of distance mark etc, pretty dangerous since less trees between parallel fairways of holes, balls flying from all over places …
Home of the dirt
Dried mud on every fairway, inconsistent greens, horrible course layout, rock hard bunkers, rock hard rough. Absolute dump
Worst course in the area
Everything about it is bad. Doesnt even have fairways, like you can barely tell between the rough and fairway... Layout is terrible, course is dry and full of dirt patches. Could be decent if it had a good owner. Only argument you could make for positivity is the price, but i cant even justify paying 25 dollars for 18 holes at this place.
there are no yardage markers on the course. NOT GOOD
Value Play
Village Green always offers one of the better values for hot deals and weekday play with a cart. If you need a quick fix and don't mind playing in mediocre course conditions, this is always a good option. The greens are at least in decent shape, but they're extremely slow. The fairway and rough are the worst part. There're a lot of patchy and dying grass everywhere, and sometimes they'll try and feed the grass midday, which is a bit of an annoyance as I was purposely trying to avoid the sprinklers. But at the end, it's an easier par 70 course and the value is there.
It's not the nicest, but you can't beat the value
Village Green is absolutely worth the money. For the price, the course layout and course conditions are pretty decent. It's not the most challenging course, fairways are generally pretty wide, but it's a great course to get out and play golf with your buddies. Pace of play is quite good, I don't find myself waiting around much at all. If you're looking to get an inexpensive round of 18 in, go to Village Green!
Course layout is a little tight
Too many of the greens and tee boxes are too close together. There was a group on another hole shooting at our green because they were confused with the layout. Tee boxes are in need of some TLC. Greens were nice but considerably slower than the practice green.
Not good
Got hit in the mouth by a golf ball. Guy didn’t say fore or anything. Staff was tremendous and helpful. Course layout is a disaster and shouldn’t be allowed
Village green
Very forgiving course. Not the best conditions but you get your money’s worth.
