Springbrook Golf Course

This is just an average course..

It's been 15 years but it is still a nice tough course. I jumped on as a single and the guys I played with were really slow. Two guys walked and I drove with the other guy. Who was on his phone all day. It took 5:15 minutes to play yikes.

We started more than 30 mins after out scheduled tee time. The course was full of golfers trying to walk the course. Require carts on holidays. We left the course after 5.5 hours and had only completed 16 holes!

Played this course on a beautiful Sunday afternoon and although we had to wait a little bit to tee off, about a 15 minute delay, it was wonderful! Everyone was super friendly and as far as municipal courses go Springbrook is the best around. It surpasses a lot of private courses including the much pricier Bolingbrook Golf Club. The course is challenging but not impossible and it really provides a great challenge for golfers of all ranges.

I've played this course probably 50+ times and it was always my fall back public course because it's decently long and a little challenging.

However, during the winter they cut down a lot of trees and really changed the way the course plays. I personally liked the challenge, and I thought it would speed up play, but it didn't. My tee time was 1:02 and didn't tee off until almost 1:25. And the round was right at 5 hours. Rough.

The new upgrades to the clubhouse and stuff are nice though.

Springbrook is in great shape this late in the year. Not too many leaves, and greens are fast and true. Give it a try!

Had a beautiful day. Day was overcast and course played long due soft fairway and greens. It was in great she and fair.

Fairways could be Mowed Tighter ... almost like playing on Playground Grass ... Traps in poor condition due to recent rains... not much you can do about the standing water

Pace of play was not very good. Didn't notice any rangers monitoring the course.

If you're looking for a quality, well kept and challenging course, well look no further. Springbrook is a great course located in Naperville. It's challenging, but not too difficult. It's also long enough to make it worth the money. The greens and fareway are in great shape, and you can be in and out within 4 hours on a busy day. I recommend this course to anyone that is looking to be challenged and have a good time.

Played here for the first time in a long time. From the moment I got here, it was top notch. Staff, course, conditions, pace, cost. Across the board it was a first class experience. Will be back.

I was struggling all year with my driver. I asked the pro for some tips and he was very helpful. Great course.Very good bargain for 18/ holes.

Course in nice condition, some very challenging holes, very undulating greens, overall very good value for the money, would play again.

We play here pretty often due to excellent challenge and convenience. The staff is great and the course conditions are always very good. Nice range and putting greens as well.

Have played here many times. Course was in good shape. Never saw the drink cart despite it being fairly hot and sunny. Was expecting slow play since it was a Friday afternoon but we finished in 4:20 despite having a couple in our foursome that took their sweet time lining up putts and weren't playing ready golf.

My gripe is that the ranger, was pretty rude about asking us to pick up the pace and catch up to those in front. We were playing faster than the 4.5 hour guidelines despite having a full foursome playing by the strict golf etiquette rules. This really wrecked the round for me. I hate to feel rushed on the golf course and we weren't even playing slow according to their own posted guidelines. I have a sour taste now for Springbrook and will look elsewhere.

The condition of the course was excellent. If you miss to the right as many golfers do, your second shot many times can still be in a spot to recover. This was very helpful in building my confidence in the game. I'm new to golf with only 6 rounds under my belt. I scored a 94 and for me that's a new low score. It doesn't mean there weren't any challenges, but some of my mistakes weren't thrown into a spotlight. It's a nice course and thanks to Golf Now I was able to find a great tee time after a long week of work.

Course is challenging but fair. It is in excellent shape.

Starter argued with me that I didn't have a tee time even after I showed him my paid receipt. Once the clubhouse set him straight he didn't admit he was wrong or offer anything close to an apology. Normally I wouldn't mind but he was overall rude.
We were a two some following a threesome. We played as a 5some for a couple holes and then made us split up. The course was slow to begin with and that made it even worse. They didn't seem to do anything to speed up the slow groups ahead of us either. Took 3 hours to play the back.
Nice course but not worth the $50+ price tag. Many other courses in the area for better value

Staff was very frendley and repectable and course was in good condition given the time of month which was November 23rd late into fall in Chicago is Great!
